Been kept rather busy these few days.

Saturday , was as usual , the day we had our steamboat dinner! Had an afternoon reunion lunch at my auntie's house with my paternal side family , while my branch of the family had our own small steamboat dinner at night as usual. Did not really ate much this year as I was rather full. (20 mins?)

Sunday was officially the first day of the Tiger Year and as usual , we went to my Paternal Grandmother house first before proceeding to my Maternal Grandmother house.

This year was quite special though , my Paternal Grandmother has shifted house and is now living in a flat near Jalan Sultan , which is seriously just beside Kampong Glam CC! In fact she had moved there since I started studying for A's , but I haven't officially visited her. The house was a bit clammed because it was smaller than her other house which is being rented out. Hence the 30 odds people from this side of the family squeezed in the house haha.

However , as they say it , the more squeezy it is , the more atmosphere there is and true as it is , there was a better atmosphere this year as everyone was within inches of each other(Not Joking).

Then , we went to our Maternal Grandmother house as usual and stayed there till nightfall. Played cards without using real money haha. And again this year ,we did not touch Mahjong at all , cause it was too troublesome to set up everything.

The next day , on Monday , we have this habit of going for a meal on the 2nd day of the lunar new year and so we went to this hotel just in front of the National Library for Buffet. The food was quite average though despite the price(Around $35 per person) and quite limited in selection. So we kind of regretted eating there.

The next stop was to Marina Bay for the River AngBao festival.

It was a super sunny day and we were literally being toasted by the sun when we walked around the place. Had some really great exhibition though. There was 2 very special "dragons"~ One was made from sugar and the other made from porcelain cups , bowls and spoons. Could see that a lot of effort went into making those stuffs and they were very detailed and nice to say!

Tuesday was spent at my Maternal grandmother house to make some offerings to my late grandfather as he passed away on this day years back. So this had been our schedule every year on the 3rd day of Chinese New year. Went to watch Wolfman after that with my cousins.

And yesterday , went alone to Mustafa centre to get my non-camera phone which I have been looking for very long. Settled for an E1107 from Samsung after some ideas from the young indian Samsung Guy who was the promoter there. It has a solar panel though it is more or less only for ornamental purpose. Got the phone as I thought it sufficed for my usage in term of battery life and also in case of emergency when I run out of power, I could use the solar panel to get an extra call through per day.

Then went for Movie with the guys at Cathay and we watched True Legends. I would say that to do it justice , the action choreographing was very well done. But as Jingliang and Wenglin seriously agree with me , the plotline was almost the same as Huo Yuan Jia~~ And The director of this movie was the action choreographer for Huo Yuan Jia so there would be no doubts I guess. The wife being killed , the lead actor taking revenge and the lead actor in the end fighting against 4 westerners and winning!

Then dinner was have at Somerset at a place call Prima Taste. Haha , had a $12 chicken rice O_0 Could not believe it but oh well. It was quite nice to do it justice though.

Had been slacking on my guitar these few days , but going back to it slowly. Still very fundamental now. Look like I have to take it deep into NS to learn it well.

虎年行大运!!

Just came back a couple of hours ago from Movie(Watched Big Soldier small general) and steamboat with the class. Again , a mega stuffing of teppanyaki meat. Which is probably one of the better food there .

Again it has come to another Chinese New Year. This time the year of the Tiger!

In fact today is the eve already. And CNY is just tomorrow.

So I wishes everyone a very prosperous Chinese New Year.

There used to be quite an atmosphere for CNY , when I was younger. I still remembering playing the fire sparkle sticks at my doorstep every CNY eve after dinner and looking forward to CNY everytime. New clothes , chances to meet a lot of people and we feel especially rich those days because we would Jiak Ho Liao and eat as much as possible. And of course the Ang Bao money.

Nowaday , such a feeling seems dispensible.

Perhaps as you grow older , CNY does not hold such significances anymore in our heart.

For some people , it's just another day.

Of course , for me , I still look forward to it as a day where we can meet and exchange our heartfelt greetings with our relatives and wishes a good year ahead. Sometimes it's the thoughts that count. Relatives where you won't meet for the whole year would appear in front of you and at least you have some chances of chatting with them.

Had done some shopping for Army recently! Bought a new pair of black frame Spectacles and a new Iriver mp3 player which have both been draining on my saving.

As for a non-camera phone , I'm still searching! For the ideal one.

So so fast woah. 12 days!

Something I have forgotten since a year back.

With not time left till my Enlistment , I have finally gotten back to something that I have pushed back for quite a while.

Learning the guitar.

Bought some books. Both Chinese and English to help me in my attempt to learn abit before my enlistment , such that I can continue learning it during the weekend bookouts during my NS time.

Got this guitar at home since last year end and yet did not made much attempts to learn it. However spent 2 days at home studying and practicing and now I'm making slight progress , which I think will allow me to play some stuffs in a couple of weeks. For some reasons , some people suggested that I start by learning the chords , but my guidebook has a step by step guide which start with fingerplucking , which is what I'm doing now to train my dexterity.

I also have some serious doubts about my sense of rhythm which I hope to improve slowly as I learn the guitar.

The beginner part of the book state that I should complete the 26 lessons in 6-12 months.

Back from Genting

Actually came back two days ago.

However was a bit lazy and busy at the same time , so I did not blog about it.

Well , this trip to Genting was with Weng Lin and Gabriel and it was okay I guess. Kind of like a small retreat for us before we enter Army in a short while . Gabriel next weekend especially.

Started having sore throat on the 2nd day of the trip to the theme park and after playing quite a bit of roller coaster , had quite a headache at the end of the day.

Haha I think I just could not tolerate the pirate ship's oscillation movement which made me so dizzy.

And we did play a lot of bumper cars while Weng Lin was the main hand behind our many , many hoop shooting games at the arcade where we amassed 3k tickets to exchange for some gifts!

The trip there was fast at 6 hours. While after we left at 2pm on Wednesday , we only managed to reach at 10 pm at Golden Mile Complex! Almost 8 hrs of bus. That surely exhausted me out.

And to think of something infuriating. After I decided to go for a jog today. I actually fell down after 3 rounds and now I suffer from quite a serious abrasion on my knee ~~ :(

So much for 5 years of running on the same terrain.

First time dyeing my hair

Went for my final haircut before NS and for Chinese New Year today.(Actually yesterday)
And did my first ever dyeing of hair!
Just felt like doing so actually , since I won't have the chance until after NS.

So far , the effect turns out better than I expected.
Actually quite used to the colour.
Do not expect too much though as the colour is not very bright. It's a dark Mocha Brown Haha!
Just wanted a change of colour and not a complete reversal of my hair colour.

Working tomorrow and ending soon.
Oh well.

What do I have left to do before I have no chances?

Life of a 小坡ian

Had been working these few days and all had been well.
At least my job has been quite relaxing compared to the rest of the people at the John Little Mega Expo Sales.
I just sit there and serve customers who are doing deliveries.
The guys there are great and my supervisors are nice and friendly.

Except for the long working hours , all are fine!

Oh ya , and for all those O level Graduates who I know from the sales , good luck for O level results on Monday~

Then just went for dinner at Old Kallang Airport with my family. On the way back home on bus , my Mother told me about the place where she and my father dated more than 25 years back , at a park just beside the Kallang Canal, somewhere near the Lavender Wet Market , where they so called "fed mosquitoes"!

Haha , that was like so long back~

And that was when I realized that my Father , mother , and my brother and I , have all been living in this part of Singapore since we were bornt and have never moved out of it.

Bugis , or some people called "小坡" was the place where my mother and father had grown up in , and yes , they have moved house 2-3 times each , but still within this small part of town , near the city.

Needless to say , my brother and I have grown up here over our 21 and 18 years respectively and it certainly is a different experience from living in the heartland.

We don't have the big open parks , the clear lanes to cycle , the void decks to hang out in , the nice playground where we can spend our childhood in(Instead , my childhood playground was at Kallang Bahru and Tampines which was my Grandma's house where we spend every Saturday last time).

Every morning when we wake up , it's the hustle and bustle of the Kwan Yin Temple when my mother goes praying. And the breakfast at the Queen Streets Market.

Shopping is always near . Before Bugis Junction was open when I was in Kindergarten , the place was quiet , backwards and slow. And Stamford Primary School , which was beside my house , was the place of choice for my brother and me.

Then Bugis Junction was opened and the area was revitalised. So it has been the place where we shop and hang out and the place became more and more busy.

I think that it must be weird when one day I wake up and I am no longer living here , because I'm really too farmiliar with this area. I have been to all places within 3 kms of here and it's nice to think that I can walk to Suntec City from here. Haha!

I must really say that it has been a pleasure living here and although this post is so random , I relish waking up in the this part of town everyday and awaking to the sounds and sights of this area.

It's 2010 now!

Last night , I went for a countdown BBQ at Pasir Ris Park with the class people and it had been a few years since I countdown outside. Most of the past years countdown were either spent at home or

I have been quite a couch potato for the past 1 to 2 weeks and now I could not afford the time to slack.
From tomorrow till perhap end of January , I think my schedule would be pretty much filled up by my work , Genting trip and some other miscellaneous stuffs.

That's fantastic though! Staying at home might be relaxing but it does get boring after one month.

However it's all different now. And thank for it ^_^

Just 55 days to my next stage of life.

KL trip

Hey I'm back from KL! Well again , since i went there for 1 or 2 days last year!

This time round , I spent a longer time there and trust me , it was a well-deserved rest which I need after My BK this december and sydney trip this June was cancelled. Well , a simple , but nice city tour and plenty of shopping!

1st Day

This is the Christmas Tree at Berjaya Times Square!

My mother had some craving for coffee and we went to a small cafe to have a short teabreak after touching down not long ago.

Swiss Garden Hotel which I lived in. Fairly okay I think although I never used any of the facilities at all. The swimming was OMG.... Small....

Then we had dinner at a restaurant at Chinatown called Ho Lian Zi which serve a very mean Black Soya Sauce Hokkien mee. Food and price-wise was the most affordable throughout the whole trip.

This dish was nice! The chicken was pre-fried and it was cooked in a very fragant spicy sauce.

2nd day

Early in the morning , we proceeded to the Twin tower and this is a picture taken in Suria KLCC. However , we were super late and did not manage to get the tickets to go up to the skybridge. Well and mind you , it was only 9.30 a.m.

After that , we proceeded on to Thian Gong Temple to pray pray.
There was a small tortoise pool there that was filled with tortoise.

After that was Lunch at Madam Kuan at MidValley Megamall

A nice concoction of Nasi Lemak in a restaurant. Quite nice I would say.

After a few hour of shopping , it was dinner at KFC.

This was mine , Oriental chicken set. 2 pieces Chicken + rice + chicken ball soup.

3rd day

On the third day , we went to watch Avatar 3D version at Berjaya Times Square.
The 3D structure there was quite filmsy though , the spectacle kept on falling off my nosebridge...

After that we went on to Sungei Wang Plaza which is known for its cheap buys! Plenty of cheap and street style stuffs there of all varieties.

Lunch at a new Hong Kong Restaurant there which had quite a lot of people eating. Serve very authentic Cantonese cuisine!

After hours of shopping at Sungei Wang Plaza , it was a nice dinner at Dragon View Restaurant at Jalan Alor again. Ordered 5 dishes for 3 people so it was really a lot~~ Can just say it was a sinful and totally satisfying dinner.

4th day

Buffet breakfast at the hotel cafe which we stuffed ourselves throughout the three days.
They have quite a sumptious buffet spread with different breads , some local delights and majority western styled breakfast. Even the egg has 4 varities. The thing is that the menu was quite similar almost everyday. So by the 3rd buffet there was nothing much to eat already.

Well after that , it was back to shopping for a while after we checked out and we waited out the last 1 hour at Starbuck before we left on our bus home at 5.30 p.m.

Ya and that's it. What I bought there was some clothes and a bit of food. My mum bought A LOT of food.

And.

2 more months to inevitable 19 wks chalet trip.

Better enjoy myself while it last.

Well , I finally recieved my NS enlistment Date. Quite satisfied with the date which is late Feb next year although I think I will be appealing for Another Pes. Will not reveal anymore here.

Also , decided to go to KL again this year after going there last year. Didn't really enjoy KL thoroughly last year as I stayed closer to Genting and only spend like 1 day in KL.

This time , I'm staying right at the centre of KL! Hope I would have fun.

And Genting next year with the Class Guys. Now I just have to get a good package.

Prom Night

It was Prom Night tonight.

Dressed up a bit and went to the hotel room in which Mavis's Mum has booked with all the guys to put down my bag and did the final part where I donned my blazer and tie.
Thenafter , we walked across the street to Grand Hyatt Hotel where we had cocktail first. Dilly dally a bit , and went on for the Prom Dinner.

We had some activities and everyone around me took photos whenever there were chances. I reckon that at least tens of thousands of photos were taken.

Prom tonight was okay in my opinion , though well , generally , for people like me who cannot steal the limelight , Prom Night is just an event that lasted for 2 hours and a sort of formality to go through , just so to have no regrets or anythings. And Prom night is over , in a flash , after spending around $200+ in total.

After that , some people went off , some went back to stayover at the hotel rooms , Aloy and Daniel went for Post-prom at Rebels. While for me , I went to collect my bag and took a long , long walk home.

If you realize something about the Orchard Towers area , in the night , there would be "Ah Gua" or so-called Ladyboys walking around and I saw 3-4 very obvious cases myself. So after going through the Orchard areas after a half an hour walk , walked the usual way Through Dhoby Ghaut to home. Spent about 50 mins and I reached home at 1.30a.m.

Yeah it's decided!

After missing out on taking a plane for quite some time , I'm finally going oversea again!

This time to somewhere where I have not been before , Bangkok~~
And it's one of the only place where you can stay in a 5-star hotel for a relatively low price , which is what I'm going to do.

However , not so soon though , it's about in two weeks time , so I will look out for more information on where to go~~

Freakonomics

That's it. Prom clothings are settled.
Although what I have chosen might not really seem to match(LOL) , but I think I would wear just that.

Anyway , it's just a short night so I will wear what I like best. Overall cost is still acceptable and within my budget so I think it's fine.

And this blog post is to recommend an interesting book which I think everyone with basic Economics grounding(Or even nothing at all , like me) would like to read. It involves no Economics at all in fact , and is a great , casual read.

I think I might be too slow , going by the fact that this book is already 4 yrs old and the 2nd book SuperFreaknomics is out. However I should start with this one.

Generally , I tend to dig fiction books like Fantasy or those meaningful novels. And this is quite a signature departure from my usual read in that it's a non-fiction one. However , it manages to be an entertaining read so far , as I finished the first 2 parts of the book.

An unusual economist asking weird questions about some stuffs that we normally would not think about , and approaching it in an easy to understand and very humorous way that makes it hard for you to drop the book a moment. That's what this book is about and my next few days would be on finishing this book!

After that , I think I would be starting on several PC games like FF12. Yeah , gonna chiong the game to pass my time!

Power of the currency

One have to wonder just what a set amount of money can buy for you.

Went to Orchard with the guys to buy Prom Clothes yesterday and at first I thought the price there was okay. Went around various shops at Orchard ions and Far east and I settled for a shirt and a tie. Then I thought that I think I should not get a blazer since the price there start minimum at $99.90 for one. Price conscious you see.

Then onwards , in the night , I happened to pass by This Fashion at Dhoby Ghaut and I went in to take a look. I saw a blazer at $36! Of course not the best kind and after trying , I decide to pass it on and proceed on to Bugis Street. That was when I found that there is a huge price disparity between Orchard and Bugis Street!

Naturally , being raised in Bugis , I knew how much the clothes cost in Bugis Street and it can be a good place to buy clothes. However , never have I ever tried to buy a blazer there. So it happened that a blazer start at $40+ there! And the thing is , the blazer are just as the same as those costing $99.90 at Far East plaza! Not to mention $200+ at branded shops like topman.

I personally know that I look weird in formal , but the below blazer cost $269 bucks and the shirt $71....

Again , till Saturday when we try to get the rest of our Prom Stuffs.

And I'm going for a wedding tonight at Sentosa.

It has been quite a two year.

It just went by like this.

From worrying about A level at the start of this year , to finishing all my papers today.

It has been a long way. Truthfully. However I'm glad that it's all over.

And it will be fun , work , Television , books , sports , food all the way from now on!

Till something notable happens.

Wow. Economics Paper was not too bad at all.

I realized that for the first year of JC, I kind of seperated myself from Economics and think that it's a very "Cheem" stuff which I would never know. And , like Vectors , I kept pushing it all the way till late this year , till the learning curve become super steep due to fears and uncertainty. Thankfully , when I really put down my prejudice against it and go and study it , that I realized that it's actually kind of Interesting. At least for the H1 level , it's just the concept and application , they really won't go and mess with the H1.

Luckily it seem to come out questions that I know how to answer , so I indeed had a good time doing the paper. Kind of enjoy it though I dreaded doing it before it. Hope can really do well for this paper , though maybe I overestimated my ability since over the two years I only touched the Economics book thoroughly twice. Sometime you think that your answer is fantastic, but it's different from the standard answer. However I don't know what's the standard answer since i never really do anything for Economics.

And I always tend to overestimate my ability.

Nvm , I should shrug all these and forget it about it till March next year when everything would be revealed.

And I just realized that Singapore's marking system is inflated. Did you know that for A level in Hong Kong. Those who got C and above is equivalent to an A in Singapore and England? For most subject , the aceing rate is 3%.And for some subject , less than 1% could obtain A and it's reserved for the top students. So there , B is really a very very good grade.

After A level , I would be going here!

Taipei 101. Probably in January. Though not all confirmed =/

Heard so much , so much about Taiwan in the past so would like to see for myself how it's like! Got so much places to go~~ And so much food to eat~~ All the Ye Shi , Shopping Mall , Ming Shu and special locations that can't be found in Singapore.

Economics!

Geography Paper 2 was quite fantastic in my sense. And I truthfully felt that I did decently for it. This time round , my time-control was great . 15 minutes for part a , 30 minutes for part b. Although I did exceeded the time limit for the Transport question by 10 minutes to give a longer essay. However , the DRQ were considerably easier than P1 and although I kinda screw up a bit on one part , the rest was quite do-able. Probably the last Geography paper that I would do in my life , and I hope that it would turn out well.

Was worryinga out the paper the entire of last night when I kept flipping through all the case studies and going through Transmigration in case Globalization and Urban geography come out some "Weird weird" questions. In my case , I felt that I answered the essays quite effectively and my last minute revision of TNCs did help luckily for my Globalization essay. NIDL + Spatial organization. Not quite the question that I would do normally , but I believed I answered it quite to the point. A very technical essay I would say and not the examination type that I would do.

Now , I'm left with Economics H1 and Chemistry P1 and hope it turns out well. Revised my Economics notes and going through some case studies. Hopefully they do not come out "Weird weird" questions , as had been for other papers so far.

Not least , since Economics is the subject that I'm least prepared for.

So far , the exams have been rather favourable to me.

Definitely they are not very hard . However, I always seem to worry about careless mistakes after every single papers. Must seriously take it easy , or I would worry a lot for the next 3-4 months.

That granted , I have three papers left , which I do not have to worry so much about in term of careless mistakes. Because these papers are .You know means you know. You don't know means you don't know. Of course I would have to be careful with Chemistry Paper 1.

Next up , 2 days on , would be Geography Paper 2. The paper that would make me , or do me in.

I still remember , there is always no guarantee as to how you perform in something. One always fall at particular point. I still remember entering the examination hall , after studying for just one day , and exiting it disappointed back then. That's the result of being overly confident . I went to Mrs Ng and I told her. "I think I won't get an A1. " And she just said , don't worry about it. There's always moderation. Yet end in end , I got just an A2 for it.

In A level , the gulf between A and B is huge and unlike in O level , where I managed to savage my result from elsewhere.

Just , I don't mind how scrappy my paper would turn out to be. Just let me scrap an A and I would be happy. And let me exit the MPR happily , feeling confident about the paper.

And Economics , just come out whatever I studied.

Meanwhile , let me enjoy myself first.

Mid Term Review

Aha , finally I ended the most intensive part of my examination!

5 days straight of exams are done and I'm left with 4 more non-consecutive papers , and Maths off my mind.

Let talks more in depth about the individual subjects.

Geography was quite unexpected as it's not a straight forward paper. And it's plagued by poorly phrased questions. The Essays were fine as what I studied did came out , but my Catchment essays did not have emphasized too much on the how the problems were solved. The DRQ was fine too , but lost a couple of marks here and there.

So far , very hard to put an Alphabet on this subject. Have to look at Paper 2.

Math. I did my fair share of answers checking so far. I do not want to say die die I will get what Alphabet but , so far , because I might have made careless mistake , it look likely that I lost quite respectable marks on both papers. Won't go beyond that. Hope it suffice.

General Paper was fine I guess , although I can grade how I did for it.

Chemistry was okay also I think. Not too bad.

And yes , 4 more more papers to go.

Geography P2 better don't pull my results down.

Finally. After a good 23 months in JC , it have come to this time to prove what I have learned.

With the A level coming up next week , a FULL week next week of examination , I should say that I have done all I could and hope that it would be enough.

I do have an individual wish for all my subjects!

Math:I hope that all the papers (Total 14 paper 1 and 13 paper 2 after prelims) would be enough to help me prevent being careless and do all the questions effortlessly!

Chemistry: I hope the 10 set of papers which I have done , would help me(Well the same) , but considering my I.E. is Cui , hope it do not come out so much!(3 m out of the whole paper is fine).

Geography: Please do come out essays questions which are do-able and yes , please do not let history repeat itself. I can never forget what happened back then. (Please!! T_T)

Economics: Yes , hope that the 2 hours of revision I have done is sufficient and the one day should be enough for me to chiong it.

General Paper:Give me a good essay question which I have a lot of knowledge in. And of course I prefer interesting questions so that my creative juice would flow. Yes , keep that coming in.

Sometimes , we must be realistic that we cannot always expect that all the efforts that we have put in would amount to something. However, we should still at least hope. With this hope , then we can aspire. And when we aspire , we achieve.

Anyway , all the best. And hope it would be okay for us. Right.

Haha , tomorrow , there is this graduation ceremony for my Alma Mater at my Community club. Rochor PAP kindergarten. Well , when I saw the graduation cerenomy just now , I realize just how good fortune these kids are. When I graduated in the past , did we even have a hall for our graduation? LOL.

Litho Or Atmo?

I think I'm facing a very big Dilemma here.

Should I take Atmosphere or Lithosphere? Apparently I'm not fantastic in any of them unlike my Human geography in which Population is what I'm weak in. So , no struggles there and I would pick Globalization and urbanization anytime.

I got a feeling that I understand Atmosphere to quite an extent , but then again , I'm far more familiar with Lithosphere , having studied it for 2 years...

Slightly more than 2 weeks to the big examination , the last national examination hurdle. I should hopefully clear my geography by next weekend. Been spending a lot of necessary time on Mathematics and Chemistry and I hope that it would see some good effects.

Okay , so it's 1 a.m. now. Can I complete my hydrology notes by 1 hr time? Can I clear my Economics in one day time before the examination? Can my General Paper essay finally not screw up this time?

Hopes for As for A level

It was a simple ceremony yesterday. Nothing fanciful , but I guess it suffice to end the two years. Quite an effort put in by the teachers and I could feel their sincerity in it. Thanks for all their guidance so far and thanks them all for not giving on me , who keep on failing their every tests...

From this moment onward , I would cut down all my time doing useless stuffs , save for Reading the Newpaper , watching a bit of television and perhaps taking a short nap.

It's all the way for now. Just a bit more until that 23rd of Nov and definitely I could sustain it! Haven't been able to take my heart off the exam any moment recently and I feel guilty whenever I start to slack. So I might as well just either throw myself into the Study Room or go to school everytime I'm awake.

Been wasting my time the past two days as I just felt too tired to do anything at night.

So for now , it's time for me to focus and 闭关修炼. It's the last final lap for me to step across to that elusive A for Geography , Math , Chemistry , Economics and GP.

Two years have just passed by and I wonder how I would feel later on today.
Will it be one of happiness? One of sadness? One of a heave of relieve? Or just an indifferent one.

Sometimes what and how attached you feel to somewhere is closely linked to what have you done there. Being the usual me. I believed I have done nothing significant. Yes. Nonetheless , the gratitude of being just yourself and the being rather unknown means that you do not have to live to anyone expectation , except for yourself. So largely , all my attention had been in the academic part of JC life , which I would embarrassingly say I have not succeeded much , seeing my results as it is.

Nonetheless , there are bits and parcels of JC life which I truely treasured and I would have to say I gave my best in all I tried so far. So , No regrets in those department either.

Graduation is always a tangible concoction of tears and laughter. And I should look forward to whatever happens later. And of course take a look at my result slips LOL. Exciting Huh.

Time for a summary for Prelims

Happy happy.

Prelims are over.
A level are coming.

However there are still a month and a half left , so relax people. Relax~

It's always during this examination season where I have to forgo sleep day and night just to get down on the table and study for it.

The papers were spread over two weeks and before the holiday and just thinking of it , I would realize I spent around (1.5 + 1.5 + 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 +3 + 1 + 1.5) 22.5 hours just taking the papers alone.

That is thinking and writing for 22.5 hours straight and it really show to see how much we have to know for the exam itself.

I totally do not how I did for the exams as I find it really hard to estimate.

Pass? Possible , since we are supposed to pass now.
C? Highly unlikely. Below that , yes for most paper I think.
D , E ? I think maybe , got some chances.
Fail? I should be extremely worried for A level.

I haven't done a read through of all my exam questions yet and I thought I should be doing it tonight to reflect on my errors and roughly gauge where I stand.
Prepare for any surprise shock also , so I should not be so alarmed should I get back some paper which would render me into unforeseen misery.

My sentiments so far has been that this time round , the Prelim papers are not very easy , above average compared to some other schools that I have seem and tried. Especially the statistics, kind of shocked me , given the depth and level of thinking of some questions.

Chemistry is really unpredictable. 1 moment you might think that you got the correct answers and when you get back the paper , it might turn out to be wrong. Just like Mid year when I really screwed up all my organic chemistry questions. Urgh Huh. Hope nothing of that cases will happen again.

We had geography paper 2 today and as expected , Transport came out and I would think most people are poised to do it , due to the many resources and hinted given. However , today's question was slightly twisted. Globalization , on the other hand , had 1 9 marks question that was exactly the same as the answer outline given and I think I overwrote , taking over 1 hr 50 mins for the two essays!

Part b of globalization was on supranational bodies. Hmmm. I would say I did not expect it to come out , given that Transnational Corporations have not came out for the past 2 years while supranational bodies came out yearly and I felt that Transnational cooperation would come out. Some of the questions for the DRQ were quite interesting and I would be looking forward when Mr Yeo and Mr Ng finishes marking and go through the answers.

I just have to make this blogpost to comment about several events.

The study session just now was so efficient that even I was impressed.
Normally , I had went home earlier , it would have been watching the television or just lazing my time off.
However , I have managed to do a bit of work so that I can start on revising my mathematics tomorrow which I so desperately need.
Let hope it would be fruitful.

When was the last time you said tomorrow I would do it?

I know myself , truthfully because that's my "philosophy" of life.

We tend to procrastinate instead of doing what we should be doing.
I have done it so many times , dragged so many things and of course regretted.

There are things that even though I had wanted to commit myself into them , I have not done so , due to time constraint , things that crop up and most importantly fear.

Maybe of us have this fear in us , fear of the unknown.
Hence ,
What we wanted to do has not became what we had done.

I believe words are things that in excess , the value diminish. So I should leave the simple interpretations to ourselves.

Do we want to try ? Do we have to try? Do we need to try?
We want to.

Passing by may seem so insignificant to some. Passing by may yet seem significant to some. Maybe it was...

To me , it was a trial. It shows that I have not been able to grow up. I'm still a child afterall.

Going down the curve

Aha. It have been quite long since I last blogged.
I don't know , but maybe some day this blog will really totally be close down?
Since I find that I do not even have even time-age on the computer anyway.
As in there's no "Want" factor in using my Computer.
Maybe "distancing myself tactic" does work LOL

Just felt like typing a post because I haven't been doing so for quite a long while I think.
I also happen to have some spare time these 1 or 2 weeks.
I think I pretty much forgot stuffs that happened in between this post and the last post.
So I think I would just recall a bit.

The nicest show that I enjoyed during the holiday would definitely be the Video Games Live concert! How to not enjoy when you are holding a $118 VIP ticket and you are just sitting in front of the things that you have been enjoying since you were young?

For me , I definitely can't classify myself as a gamer , though I would say I have played most games a bit a bit before.As in I play games very widely , but I do not sink into a game for long.

Thinking of it , I kind of remember my addiction with games when I was young.
Of course I guess my first gaming platform would be the $30 50-games-in-one TV game that I Played as a young child. Haha. Don't know where it went le leh. It was very cool! With all the old classics like Duck Hunt(Even with a motion pistol) and Super Mario! That was when I was still in PAP uniform and playing with my food.

Then came the PC platform. My first major major addiction was with Age of Empires II. I could still remembering playing it for hours on end everyday on the Internet gaming zone and really having my heck of a fun with it. That was when I had my first PC at 7 years old? Doesn't seem very long ago , but it had been a decade from now. Then came the Xbox , the PSP , the NDSL , the newer , newer PC . However , in the past 2-3 years , I think I have really left gaming pretty much. Occassionally picking up a casual game on PC or just playing for a short while on my NDSL.

However , it still did not stop me from enjoying the show! It was fantastic and well , I could remember all the old and new songs in gaming in the past and nowaday. Beside , they created such a great atmosphere with all the lighting that made listening to symphonic music not boring at all~~In fact it was an inspiring and amazing night. Instead , everyone was looking forward to the next show. Ok , That's about it , they said they would be back next year.

The Guitar Hero challenge!

So for most of the holiday , I was doing one very specific stuff--Studying , using the wrong methology and the wrong attitude. In fact it was study a bit , walk a round , use the computer for a while , watch the TV for an hour , go back to the same page where I was just now. Although , I would say I still tried my best.

However, it was no wonder , this examination , I have to agree with my respective H2 teachers.

Mum:So do you think my son can go to Australia this holiday?
Mr Lee:I have heard from Mr yeo about this. And I believe that your son would do very badly for his Mid-year juding from his result now.
Mum:.....

Fulfiled:Paper 3 manageable , paper 1 failed , paper 2 very bad

Mr Yeo:You know Kai Quan , I don't know about you leh , You always look like that kind of you know , Diao Er Lan Dang type. Like that kind cannot study type.
Mr Ng was quite a nice guy though , when he told us our class's geography was alright and he wasn't worried about us.

However apparrently , physical geography(Litho , atmospheric and hydrospheric) kind of killed everyone more than Human Geography , which was equally bad at the least.

Mrs Tan: Kai Quan , if you need help , you must really come find me for your consultation you know. I got this clinic , every thursday. You must really come find me if you need help.

Math was always my nemesis , so I would not be surprised if I fail math again.

If life was a graph , I could only see myself going down the curve so far. When can bounce up a bit to lift myself up? Better be sooner.

Today went for school for GP exam.
Well , the essay was pretty much screwed up as I think I lack the sufficient amounts of examples necessary. However , the comprehension was quite okay I guess as the questions could be done. Overall , satisfactory I guess. Could pass?

Then after that , waited a while with lunch and a bit of volleyball and went to Jingliang house for a while to chill out with Roy and JL while waiting for floorball to start. Was intending to read up a bit but failed to do so as expected and slacked quite a while. HAHA. It will start soon~~

Then on , we went back to Valhall and played free matches which took up the whole of two hours! Floorball had never been so fun in the past , with all the stress. Today was phenomenom , could see that everyone , including the coach was super engrossed in the games and enjoyed it thoroughly! Actually I could not get enough of floorball Haha. A total of around 10+ rounds were played between us and I came near to a goal when I ran forward with a 1-1 situation! Well , did not whack hard enough Haha. Well , it's all the fun that matters! However , we have to leave early to go for class dinner at Novena!

My last memory of Novena was when I went there about a few months ago for the Vienna International buffet at United square I think. That was really jiak Ho liao!$40++ per person =/ Think i would never spare the money to eat there again although the food selection was superb with all the expensive stuffs and the food was delicious.

This time , we went to another side of Novena to the Zhen Fa Huo Hai Xian. Well I had never known that there was so many restaurants in this part of Novena , especially the few Steamboat buffets (Think Bugis Lol) Luckily ZhenFa buffet wasn't an Ah Tiong Chong Qi/Si Chuan shop. It was a tad pricer but at least they offer Tepanyaki and various other food selection like a real buffet at $20. Had a lot of fun with the food and the class people and we seriously neglected the steamboat with just some pig skins which I chose floating in it. All that we ate was meat , meat , meat , meat and more meat(Perhaps with a bit of stingray added in) . That's right , all proteins , no carbo. Followed by a bit of chocolate fondue and plenty of drinks. All in all , I felt that I did not eat $20 worth of food , but oh well , at least I was quite full after the dinner. Met Engkhye and Xiao Gu there! So coincidental! They actually rode the bike there.

Then after everything , we went home.

A month ahead of us to study study study. It's time to pick up my feeling and work hard for the Mid-year ahead.

Reached home and slept for hours , have been KOing every night from like 7-10 on the sofa. However , finished my tutorials after the rest and now it seem an appropriate time for me to sleep.

Went down after school to RJC to watch the match today.
What can I say about it?
There is indeed nothing I can say about it.

It was kind of hard to see everyone demoralized after the match. Especially WS , JL , ZH , Andrew , Darren and of course the rest of the team , the feeling was tangible.
Some of them tried to remain calm and non-chalant , but the look was on their face.
I knew I could do nothing by being there , but I just felt better when I was there to share the pain with them.
I could feel it.
Everyone put in all their efforts for this competition , even those who never made it to the team , like me. And we were hungry for it , I knew that we wanted it so badly , since it's the last time we can try for it.

However , I felt that we did well enough this year. You all fought hard for the matches. You could see how the other teams have fought against us to struggle a minor win.
Yet , a minor win , is still a win.
There are still 2 more matches left , which we can win to at least show that we did comparatively well this year.

As the coach say ,"Today was a bad day for us. Perhaps another day it would be a better day."
Sometimes , things go well , sometimes , things go bad.
We must just remember that as long as we did our best , we can answer to ourselves.

A new day

Yesterday , the stars seemed to be especially shiny at Kallang.
Never have I ever lifted my eyes up to really see a lot visible stars shining in the night.
Most of the time , it would be almost starless.
They were just breathtaking.

The past few months had been a good experience for me , training alongside the team. It had been tiring , and yet at the same time happy and joyful. I put in quite a lot of effort , going down most of the days of the weeks for training. It had been long since I put in efforts to focus on doing something. The last time seemed to be really long ago....

As expected , I did not make the cut. However , I do not despair as I believe that I have tried. And it's process of trying that makes us what we are and not the end result. So I'm happy with the result and I hope that our team would be able to make it great this time on our final last try.

So it would be a new day for me from now onwards. The end of one page and beginning of another page. Let just hope it would be fruitful.

My mistakes

I do take things too seriously sometime that it affects my mood.
However I should be.

Only then that I can emerge stronger , better , faster.
I just let in the two stupidest goals from the same way and same mistakes in 1 sitting.

It should not happen again. None should the other mistakes that I have committed in the past.
There's just one month left and I should improve , improve , improve.
Only then that I can finally face up to myself.

The coach complimented a bit on my body using and pressure. However , what use is that if I let in stupid goals? It should never ever happen again.
Only then that I can answer to the team.

Parents-Teachers meet tomorrow , so I expect a hairdryer treatment from either sides. So let see what happen.

More or less , the past month has been monotonous and repetitive.

Not less , Busy too.
The end of block test Doesn't mean the conclusion to everything so far.
Barely the start yet.

Training is now 3 times a week till end April and school ends at 5+ everyday.
So time is almost to the extent of precious now and I can barely finish my homework Haha.

My block test was a nightmare . Barely two passes? I wonder what Mr Lee would say to my parents next Friday. Really cannot imagine already.

And just during the holiday , I changed to this 22" inches Monitor which I'm staring into now. Good choice and don't have to strain my eyes anymore! And when I game once in a while , it's really quite impressive as compared to when I was using my old monitor which was a lot smaller. It's really like a small TV infront of you. The widescreen kind of distort photos slightly though.

Taking my Napfa tomorrow and my SBJ , Pull up really still CMI. Look like I'm looking forward to the 2 mths physical training phases. Haha. Kind of good actually , first 2 mths without No.4!

Actually thinking about it , I think I did some stuffs and went to some places in March , but yet I can't recall. So that's about it.

Although time might passes by day by day , boringly.
I'm taking things in my stride.
Everyday might be the same.
But , you have to find your own colour on that day itself.
The most important thing is to enjoy the sights and sounds of the journey.
And it would be all worthwhile.

Block Test Is Over

Block Test is over for the moment.
Really very very tired from all the studying.

I guess I would need a while to recover all my sleep.

Can only say that Block Test is gone from what I see so far.
Chemistry was the most horrible paper I have done so far.
Totally clueless throughout the whole paper.
Section C was more managable as compared to Section B , but i doubt I can pass anyway.

So sad so sad.

Goodbye to A division for now.

Block Test Approaching

Just finished most of my homework during this weekend. Got a bit more to do , but those are manageable.

Right now , there are two things on Agenda

Block Test in 2 weeks
Floorball A division if I ever manage to get into the team.

So far , haven't started revising for my block test and I see a very undesirable two weeks ahead with studies on a rather tight schedule.

It would definitely be hard on most of the J2s so far as I can foresee. So hitting the book must start really soon.

A division is not even confirmed for us yet , as we must satisfy several preconditions before being allowed to join A division . One of it , being , satisfactory Block Test Results. Not mentioning the fact that I might not even get onto the team , despite having a desire to play in it. There are better players than I.

And , ya , I haven't managed to finish studying vectors after 5-6 months since we first learned it. Let just hope not much of vectors come out for block test and what I will study for it would come useful by then.

And I must change my sleeping habit before it gets too late. 4 hrs a night is most certainly insufficient for me I guess. So from now onward. My goal would be to sleep at around 12 every night to catch every winks that I need.

Full steam ahead , from this moment onward.

And referring to what Desmond said , I do realize that something have happened to the way I look. A lot of relatives and neighbours don't seems to recognize me and mistook me for someone else. They all say that my face look quite different from 2-3 years back , something that I could not testify for myself. I don't really see the difference because I see myself in the mirror everyday. Really?

Haven't been updating for a long time. Nearly 3-4 weeks.

The year have started off rather normally so far and the stress is getting us.
More and more stressful by the days , but nothing much we can do right? Except for standing up straight against it.

Floorball A division is coming soon and of course I hope to get inside the team , despite being a rather poor player. Will have to be regular in the training and just hope for the best!

So after 2 weeks , it was CNY!

As usual , we had our CNY eve dinner 团圆饭 at home on Sunday and we had a very delicious and filling steamboat dinner with the regular abalones and stuffs , but this year we had both fresh abalones and dry abalones from Australia. Both unfortunately doesn't taste nice in my opinion. As usual , after our dinner , we watched a bit of television and went to Guan Yin Temple beside our house which was seriously full of people for our yearly praying. We went before 11 p.m. As we knew from the news later , after that , it was countdown for the first incense to be put into the incence holder and the yearly rush for the first incense of the year just began and people just pushed against each other. But nevermind about that.Then we went home and watched the CNY live variety show and went to sleep a while later.

The next day , we woke up early and then went to my Ah Po , who is my paternal grandparents house for celebration. Met all the older cousins and my relatives and then we had lunch.

Then , following our yearly pattern , we would then follow up with a trip to my maternal grandmother house and we stayed there the entire days , greeting the relatives when they come batches by batches. This year there was quite a lot of people on both sides of my families and the whole day was weighed by down all the greetings and chatting with relatives. So followed by that and some rounds of intense Black Jack + DaiDi session , we went home.

As for today , we woke up early in the morning to adhere to our yearly tradition of having a buffet meal on the 2nd day of the lunar new year , for auspicious purpose of having a full and rewarding year. So it was full and rewarding indeed! We went to Suntec City for Their 任点任吃 buffet at River Pearl Restaurant and the food was Marvellilious!! (Marvellous + delicious!) . Ate around 30+ dishes out of the 50+ dishes there.

After that , we tried to go to the 春到河畔 but realized that it was from 6pm-12 am only! Why? I thought it was open for the whole day all these years since I was young? A lot of people also went home dissappointedly . However , it was fine for us , as we was eating nearby and just popping in to take a look.

Aha , a new cow year. And I hereby wishes everyone a very prosperous cow year and all the best to your studies! May all your wishes come true and keep your hope very very strong , till the end!

One year had passed by...
So many things ,both sad and happy , happened over the year that just finished.
It's time to bury all these feelings and begin to concentrate on the new year that lies in front of us.

So many things to study , so little time.
A major barrier faces us all this year.

No time to waste. No time to lose.
Should start to be more serious and stringent with myself.

What did I do this holiday?
Only now at the end of the holiday did I realize that I did nothing much at all.
There is still time though to pick up.
Still enough time.

KL/Genting Trip

Went to KL and Genting with my 2nd Uncle family from Thursday to Sunday. And now I'm back.

Been quite a fun trip there and did a lot of shopping , sports and walking around. Genting was quite a disappointment though as I find the price there a bit too expensive compared to KL which was really cheap for buying stuffs.

Leave Singapore on Thursday after spending a night at my 2nd Uncle's house , had a breakfast with my 2 cousins at Mcd at 4am and leaving woodland at 6am. Reached Larkin at 7+ and waited a while for our bus to KL to set off , meanwhile having breakfast.

Reached Puduraya station at KL at ard 2-3 pm , had a quick lunch and we took a while to reach Awana resort which is at the base of Genting at around 5p.m. Reached there and the whole place was cloudy~~~ We lived at this Private Condo unit which is owned by SPH and it had 2 rooms , a living room and a small kitchen.

Freshened up a bit and went to Gudong Jaya for a dinner at this local Tze Char Restaurant. Was delicious!

Woke up early on Friday to go to KL. Took the bus down to KL which is about 1 hr and reached Puduraya , before leaving for Time square to shop around. The district was said to be the Orchard Road of Malaysia so it was really filled with Shopping mall and Time Square was one of the largest mall there. Nothing different from SG inside there also. Then went on to a few more shopping mall , followed by Petaling Street to bargain at the market there which really have a lot of cheap goods to buy! The sellers normally set a price which is about 300% the original price and you have to cut it down yourself. So it was a great fun buying stuffs there. Had a claypot dinner at Petaling Street and went back to Awana Resort. Then in the night , 2nd Uncle , me and Weisheng went to Genting to walk walk , while 2nd Auntie and HongShen Stayed at the resort.

On Saturday. Woke up early to go Golf Driving and drove a lot of golf balls ~~ Followed by that , went to the archery range to shoot arrows. Been a long time since I last had archery session but I'm not too bad woah! Performed quite well at the 8m range. All near the centre. Followed by that , we had a nice lunch at this Bak Kut Teh store and had Yong Tau Foo , pig trotters and Bak Kut Teh and it was excellent I guruantee! Went up to Genting to walk around and also managed to sneak into the casino to walk walk around. Fascinating trip in the casino as it was nothing I have seen before. People were gambling at all the tables , machines and whatever casino stuffs there were. And the couplers management of money was so cool when they laid out all the money on the table and counted. Easily hundred of thousands on one table alone.

Also went to the haunted house for 25RM which I thought was a rip off because it was only a 5 min walk with 3 ppl acting as stupid ghosts inside =.= . Found nothing to do since the weather was too bad for Theme park. So we went bowling instead and shopping.

On Sunday , checked out and went back to KL in the morning and had a lunch at the famous Wei Ji Duck Rice. Nice tender and succulent duck! Liked it a lot! Followed by that , went to Sungei Wang to shop and bought some stuffs. Sungei Wang , in my opinion , was a very good place to shop as it was machiam the Bugis street and Bugis Junction of Singapore combined , with cheaper pricing than both of it , with all sort of branded and non-branded stuff at cheap price!! Followed by that , took a long bus to JB and reached JB at around 11pm. Ate the REALLY NICE Big and tasty burger at Macdonald and then took 170 across the border and back home to Queen Street. It was nearly 2 a.m. when I reached home and I fell soundly asleep after unpacking all my stuffs and keeping all the clothes and stuffs I bought for my family and I.

Went to Bukit Panjang today to get my American Eagle polos from this guy who helped us to Mass Order. Liked the new polos a lot as it fits nicely and they were quite cheap :)

A big disappointment was that the AE in KL was cheaper though in Sungei Wang :(
That's all. This post was bit messy , but haha I don't care , because too much content to edit

Overall , had a nice christmas at Malaysia and thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed myself there.

Had been kind of busy these few days.

Got my pay for my technician job rather fast , so it was put to some good usage. Joined some mass orders and bought stuff from USA , China and England . Quite fun to see the large varities of fun gadgets , stuffs and clothes I could buy. A new , innovative board game , an Airzooka , some magical tools , some anime stuffs and some clothes and caps. All those at a bargain price =D

Did quite a few stuffs these few days which I won't have time to do normally , and since it's quite a few , won't bother to take it down here.

Going to Genting in 3 days time and would be staying in this resort there at the base of Genting , celebrating Christmas there. So hope would have fun. And should be away from this blog until then I guess.

Ya fell sick again during my work on Tuesday and Wednesday. Was down with a slight cough and sorethroat so harder to work.

However wednesday was slack lah! Sat there for 6 hrs counting money come in because we finished everything!

Finally going for floorball tomorrow , LOL , with some good reasons. Working was one thing , but I coincidentally also was sick for like 60% of the training. Haha. However I'm fine now , so I guess would have to report back.

Decided to continue my work at the MOM on a different project. Oh well , just a slight few more days.

Watched The day the earth stood still with Brother today who is now on block leave for NS , quite a typical movie I would say but it was alright. Somehow the movie did not give us enough content IMO

Hmmm. Now I'm planning where to spend a part of my hardearned money! Already invested a bit in a MO.... So what else can I buy? Some fanciful digital gadgets Haha.....

Went for work at MOM yesterday.

Reached there early in the morning at like 8.45 a.m. and at the lobby I saw someone farmiliar! Wei loong was sitting at the edge of the fountain O_o

Wah , then talked to him and found out he was walking as well. Very fated with him really. The first job Aloy , Daniel , me went for , we talked to him. Then I met him at the bookfest. Then I met him after SITEX on the last day on the MRT with daniel and aloy too. And now , we are finally colleague! Too coincident I guess. And it turns out that the only three jobs he went for , was the three jobs I went to interview for too.

Then ,work started and we set up all the PC everything. The job was super tiring and slack sometime. Because they liked to split up the commands and gave us instruction one time at a time. We could have finished around 6 , but it dragged till 11.30 pm =.= Which is like working for 12 13 hrs straight.

Finally had lunch at the restaurant in front of the Central which I wanted to eat there since a long time ago. Since now I'm working near there , Weiloong , me and 2 other 26 yr olds it specialists in my grp went there for lunch. Ate the catch of the day which was Halibut fish and chips! Yummy yummy!

Then worked worked worked. Till 6 and the two guys left because they didn't want to do OT. But Wei loong and i remained on lor. So did some software testing in the night and followed by moving 50 60 printers to the storeroom in the carpark. Finished up at 11.30 pm and then went home.

This morning when I woke up , I had a nauseous feeling and my whole body was aching. Highest 38.9 degrees celcius just now but now feeling better after sleeping for most of the day. Guess I wasted my whole day sleeping bah. =( Still not that well now , but my fever have lowered a bit...

Why did the rooster cross the road??

These was taken at Tiong Bahru where flats built under the age of Lim Yew Hock still exhist. So you can only find flats in those era of around early 1960s in Tiong Bahru , Katong and some other places in Singapore.

It's some short and low flats and hence there's this kampong feeling to it...

This form of architectural structure cannot be found anymore in Singapore and hence these flats have a value in themselves. They are huge flats mind u all! Narrow in width but yet it's vry wide. Vry huge inner space and atypical.

They are low-rise flats built close to each other , creating some form of a community within them. And it's in these places where you still keep a garden at ur backyard.

Been working for 4 days at SITEX at the NEC booth. Worked with Aloy and Daniel and happily , we three were the better sellers there.

Well the four days were very repetitive and yet quite fun at the same. Meeting new friends and trying to convince buyers to buy our Laptops. Quite fun really. So overall we three sold around $100000+ of laptops lah , selling 20+ laptops each.

1st and 2nd days were quite relax with relatively little sales , as expected from a thursday and friday at the start of Sitex.Farmiliarized ourselves with the laptops and how to sell them. Then onward , on Saturday and Sunday the SITEX was converted to a warfield.

Saturday was some brisk sales for us and it's the first day my Sore throat started acting up. Aloy sold 7 while Daniel and I sold 6 each. Okay lah , the three top sellers for our section of ard 20 ppl.

Sunday which is today was more siong. My sore throat really quite bad , but still tried to sell. Sold two earlier in the day and from 1-6 I sold 0! Very sian lah because tough luck but onward after that , chiong liao and sold 6 more laptops frm 6-9. Didn't quite hit my target of 10 today but well , it seems okay. Ya , so got quite normal but okay sales there. Daniel was good and sold 11! Aloy and I 8 each. There was a guy there who sold 13 today woah!

The competition super fierce. Once we made a move of price cut , they also followed suit and we have to convince ppl that we are giving a better deal.

Well , then after the war today ,we went to chat chat a while with some new-made friends and went to eat subway , followed by home. It was hard money , having to talk non-stop and also stand for long hours everyday , irregular meals but at the same time , it's actually quite satisfying when I managed to sell a laptop. So it was good fun lah.

Today went down just now to Outram to meet Aloysius , Daniel and 3 other friends , Cindy , Tiffany and Jia min who were recommended by my friend for product training. One of the girl , Tiffany , was from SJAB last time , same SNCO too. So she actually recognized me O_o.... Oh well...

Okay training went smoothly and we are finally recruited. Okay had dinner and went back home.

Thursday

Went for my 3rd uncle's ROM on Thursday! Yup saw him getting married after so many years. We had been kind of close-knitted , as in between my uncles and all us , the nephews , so I was glad to see him get married Haha. He's my mother's younger brother btw. After the ROM ceremony which was very fast , we went to Vienna International buffet for dinner and it was really sumptious. It must be =.= , Cos it was $40+ per head which isn't very cheap Haha.

Went for the Anime Festival Asia with brother who booked out after field camp over the week..Well , it was a rather huge event and there were mountains of people there , including Chug Leong who I met there also. Not cheap I guess , at $5.00 per entrance but it was alright bah I guess.

There were plenty of Gundam seeds stuff and I almost thought it was a figurine exhibition when I saw the enormous amount of figurines of all animation there lol.

The exhibitors were okay but the items on sale aren't really cheap , so it was a form of exhibition and not really stuff purchasing . Some artworks that were made on spot are quite worth it though I think.

My bro spent $5 on some Macross Frontier artwork while I spent $8 on this caricalture for my uncle and auntie wedding.

It's my uncle wedding dinner today so we woke super early at like 5a.m. to prepare for everything and reached my uncle house at like 7 a.m. . When the bride and groom came back into the house , we zitao scrambled into all the rooms to avoid them due to some Chinese customs I guess??

Then when the traditional tea cerenomy was over , we rested for a while and I chatted with this uncle who was the driver of the wedding car. He told me he have a son who is the same age as me and was from Chung cheng and then went to Nanyang JC and his name was an english name which I knew someone else had. However , the surname is different and their home address is different. So I was kinda surprised that I do not know this guy who existed all these while and yet I do not know him?

Okay nevermind about that , after that we went to the restaurant to prepare for the wedding meal. And the wedding was pretty nice as I was happy that my uncle is now finally wed!

Okay had a good time catching with all my cousins and relatives. And of course , I was happy for my uncle too~

Went for lunch with Lucas at PS today at Macdonald.
Followed by that , we went to the Mind's cafe near Paradiz centre for a board game session!

It was quite entertaining and worth it as there were free flow drink and unlimited game session from 2-6 at just like $5+ per person! Also the shop assistants were friendly and helpful in teaching us how to learn the game

So we went there and had game sessions on the sofa even though there were only two of us. And we played the following games:

10 days in Europe:

Quite a fun game in which you must form a 10 days europe travelling route which is reasonable and are connected. Mind intriguing!

Cartagena:

A game in which you are supposed to bring 6 pirates from one end of a maze to the sloop and run off safely through using cards and moving forward.
Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers:

A game in which you are supposed to form and land map and try to score as many points as possible by gathering resources and gaining rivers and forests.

Balloon Cup:

A game in which you try to either hit the highest point or hit the lowest point in order to win enough victory cubes to achieve trophies in which you need three to win.
So had quite a fun time boardgaming till 5+ and then went home.

Passed by the music Shop at PS to grab a few picks along the way too.

Will go back to the cafe someday again and come on I want to go prawning too...

Went to the bookfest today to visit Desmond who is working there.

Also went to the MobileGear Area and saw Weiloong there , talked to him. Seemed like only 2 guys on that day were hired and all in all there were 6 workers , 3 guys 3 girls . One was supposed to be me =.= If I picked up the call that is. Anyway he said the commission was very low , so not worth it anyway.

Oh well , walked around the bookfest for 2 hours and browsed through the wide selection of books.

The one thing was they seemed to retain the same layout as last year , Yes , the 10 days which I spent there standing at the Philips counter with 2 other guys and watching Mr Beans Holidays and the incredible hulks for about 3 times each daily. Watched the two movies for a total of 20+ times each?

Bought two books , 1 for myself and 1 for my brother , for his birthday. My book seems to be nice but my brother's book seem nicer. Haha oh well. Should give the better one to him.

He is now somewhere in the Jungle in Tekong on outfield I guess , at this moment , his 20th birthday just stepped into the first hour.

Had last day of school today~~
And holiday is coming.
However what should I do?

This whole week was filled with lecture which I did not paid attention to. Nevermind that , but I went for most of the lectures which was good.

Well a brief summary of the week:

Monday: Went for Suki Sushi with Junwei , Roy , JL , WL and really spent $20+ on a lunch buffet which was not very worth it. Very filling though but there are better choices.

Tuesday:Forgot do what.

Wednesday: Went to Xiaoman house with a small part of 0825 to watch a couple of movies like Ratatoulie and Jumper. Then went for some MLM stuff with Aloy and Yi long at night which I don't really wish to mention. Venture Era anyone? Notorious right =(

Thursday : went down to Maxwell there to collect JJ party 3 tickets at the OB musics there. Then went for the Masterplan draft 2008 exhibition at URA which was beside Red Dot building and it was really interesting! I always have this interest with the Masterplan because I kind of find it involving the future of all of us.

It was my first time there although it had been there for a couple of months. And at that moment ,there were a bunch of japanese Architect there too inspecting all the large scale models of the future development plan and they really seemed to be inspecting every single part of masterplan with care and curiosity. Japaneses are really curious ppl I guess.

Friday: Went for early lunch with JL and Roy at Kovan . Ate the chicken rice that JL recommended . Not bad leh. Had floorball today till 4.30 pm . Also went for a small meetup with Mrs Koh over some Handball SIG stuff. Hope that it would succeed bah.

How do we fish?
Anyone have any ideas on fishing at a low price of <$20 per person?
Fishing seems to be fun but yet costly if you plan to pursue it only a couple of times.

Woke up at 6 this morning for a long-missing jog. Have been slacking for a dead dead long time.

Jogged past all the farmiliar places , down the road , to suntec city , raffles place , clark quay , esplanade and then along the singapore river till the long-missing bridge , fort canning hills and then back home again.

Went to send my bro off at Pasir Ris Interchange just now.
Oh well , 2 weeks again and his birthday will be spend inside. Sad for him lah.
Should give him a present when he come back though.

Fred haven't call yet , gosh. Sian sia. He said he will call tmr.
Oh well.

Don't really feel like going to school next wk as we are going to sch just for some short lessons. So it's quite sian Haha.

Went to Tanjong Pagar Railway station a couple of days ago.
Quite an interesting place , a place where not much will go but yet it has its historical significance.
It's the end point of the entire KTM railway system.
And the architecture of the building remains the same throughout its yrs.
And this whole place is under the constitution of Malaysia.
Walked around a bit because I was in the interest of taking a train to Kuala Lumpur for a short holiday.

Went out with Desmond just now after getting back results.

Went for the famous chicken rice near peace centre followed by the famous Rochor Tau Hway!

Then followed by that Desmond went to Laselle to Pang Sai Lol.

After that , we happened to chance upon a performance by Laselle Theatre art B(A) degree.
Actually was quite interesting because the drama was devilish!!

Guess what it means
It almost felt like hell in theatre though well , it's art as they said.

They are interesting lor those person , they will become another person for 40 mins straight , no matter how u talk to them or react , they will continue on arting. Degree in Theatre indeed. Art school indeed also Haha!

There's really like nothing noteworthy to blog nowaday.

Handed in our Group project file after months of hard work today. Ya really months of hard work and dozens of drafts of all kinds. Kinda surprising to see that PW that had bothered us for so long is like finishing next week?

Then had cleaning up session which was kind of fun in a way lah Haha.

Then rushed to my Grandma's house , followed by job interview at OG.

Well , it's like a confirmed job and I am allowed to work at the Toy department... But it's only $5 per hr?? And I have to work 6 days a week , also on public holiday. And worse , there's no bonus on public holiday! So putting it on hold first and I have the chance to reject or take the job when the guy call me for work...

Look like have to look for jobs at SITEX I guess... Really miss the hustle and bustle of IT shows!! The adrenaline and all the fun Haha. Hopefully can land 1 job!

Tomorrow will our A level Chinese , good luck to everyone taking it!(0825 , 4FG ) as usual and we just need a pass for it , so should be alright I guess.

Handball

Had OP Rehearsal yesterday and OP Dry run today.

Was quite nervous and hence forgot a lot of contents. However just tried my best.
The skit was horrible Haha. Can't act well=/

Then went for handball after school from 7+ to 10 at Braddell Heights CC with for training with Qingwei , EP , Nictay , Yida and Chunfui. Zhixiang was there training other people Haha.

Well , my first time there and first time playing handball , so tried it. Quite a tiring sports which you have to run up and down the court constantly to attack and defend. You must know how to attack and also how to defend because everyone is both an attacker and defender.

Quite an interesting game , so had 2 games with Yida in my group as we came late and skipped the basic training. After the training we went for dinner at Mac and home.

The Pasar Malam was great man. Had Chicken Japanese pizza and Ramly Burger + Egg for $5.30 as a fulfiling lunch. Haven't had Pasar Malam food for quite a while so it was quite delicious.

Today is also the day my brother go for his NS. Did not manage to send him off due to Dry Run. However he will be back on Sunday Night due to Deepavalli =.= Go into NS for 1 day+ and come out lol. Haha. So fast.

Have been rather busy with PW OP these past few days and school is seriously so boring nowaday. The monotonous frequency of school is really starting to make me feel like not going school as school is now very repetitive.

Bought JJ Lin new album <<陆>> today! Been expecting it for quite long already.Actually , its actual release date was supposed to be 18th Oct. However , when I went to several different album shops on that day and yesterday , it was not released yet. So very lag lah. However , managed to purchase it today.

Listened to the song! Groovy~~ And up to my level of expectation. Overall a well-rounded album despite the last 4 songs being songs that he have released before. There are still 11 new songs which I think 不潮不用花钱 , 街道 , 我还想他 , 黑武士 are some of the nicest songs. The rest of the songs aren't too bad also. However , only listened through the album once so far , so not farmiliarized with the other songs yet. Sometime one must listen one or 2 more times to completely identify all the nice songs.

It's something happy when an artist's album released is of a decent quality because the money I spent on the other new album from Jay Chou doesn't feel justified. It was not really up to my expectation. Gone are the days of the Ye Hui Mei when Jay Chou blew life into his songs. His songs now seem to be stuck somewhere, not making much progress and when he attempts to change , it does not seem right.

Just my 5 cents view here.

Went to Topone KTV at Bugis last night to sing with my brother. We had a 6-11 pm session with free flow drinks at $19.80 each. So the price is not too bad lah. Had quite a lot of fun there with my brother Haha!!! The lightning wasn't as fun as I thought lol. The drink was quite large cup so it wasn't too bad. The songs were not bad lah , quite updated.

Today was the decisive day.

We had school until 10.30 a.m. at which we went to the hall to check our papers. Could tell that everyone were both nervous and excited just like me and waiting there for our results was not exactly the best thing to be doing. As for how I did for my promos , I think I did very average bah , so should not mention it here. However quite sian because they did not show us how much we got for our Chemistry MCQ and keep us in suspense.

After that , Junwei , WengLin , Jingliang , Roy and I went for lunch and we decided to go catch a movie. Junwei had to go back so the rest of us went to J8 to watch Burn after reading. Haha did not have money so borrowed some money from JL first lol.

Hmm... From what I heard , Burn after reading is a great movie and it has a lot of good reviews. However I do not know if it's me or it's just us. It's a dark comedy I know but we did not really laugh throughout the movie. Because it was a bit hard to laugh at. So I guess its the real meaning of DARK comedy. Quite nonsensical and at the end of the movie we knew what happened , but we were quite awed by it lah. HAHA. Should have watched stormriders instead I guess. Nvm nvm next time. Kinda felt burned after watching the show.

Ate at a desert house just now , really good~~ Had Yang zi gan lu , sesame paste and some other deserts.

I guess , time just pass by so fast , did it feel like yesterday when we just entered this school? And now , almost a year has passed by... Perhaps , time should start getting slower now, just like Max payne's enemies I guess.

The last few days have been about going out to walk walk and really enjoying my After-promos life.I really appreciate not having anything to do and just slacking my life away. Went to a couple of places just to idle around. Yup. And my running schedule is back again. Went for an urban run this morning throughout the city area.

Went for my Maternal Grandma 72th birthday dinner on Saturday and saw my youngest cousin Benny again lor. Haven't seen him for a long time and he had grown fatter! However he's still as cute as ever :) And everyone was talking about him and having fun with him. Sometime a young young child would always brighten up the atmosphere. Halfway through the dinner , he suddenly sprouted a few words of cantonese which gt everyone laughing. It's like imagine seeing a 5-yrs old Korean-lookalike boy suddenly sprout out some cantonese. Like very sudden right! Haha.

Next week would be one which we would all get back most of our results. If I say I'm not worried , then it's fake. Because everyone is. I just hope that everyone , including me , would do alright for the exams... Hope for the best I guess... Tuesday would be a killer with Geography and Math. And on Wednesday we would probably get back everything at one shot. The suspense is really frightening.

And my fever/flu/sorethroat is finally gone. They say that one would feel best just after an illness. It's true I guess. Being ill right after an examination isn't a good feeling and being better now is best.

Just finished the Kiterunner after 2 months of owning the books. Breaked for Promos about halfway through the book and finally finished the book these few days. The book ending was not exactly satisfactory but it was something for us to think , for us to continue ourselves , how we would want the book to continue. The best ending however would be they would continue on to enjoy a happy life , while it might not be , because the book is a very sad one. However , should say that it's a good ending I guess. At least in its own way.

Been listening to some songs from Harlem Yu over the years. I just think that Harlem is a super super great singer who have an impactful voice and really convey the feeling in his songs. 情非得已 , 静静的 , 爱到底 , 海啸,春泥 ,靠近 among many of his great songs . He also has this dedication to put forward his own attitude in all his albums which he wrote himself. Hence , that's probably the reason why I have never gotten sick of him over so many years.

Today was kinda weird. Reached school late and decided not to stay afterall

Reached school late and when I reached the school , tons of people were walking out. Then saw Daniel and Aloy as I was going up the stairs. Lol , so ended up going to Mac for breakfast with Junwei , Daniel , Roy and Aloy. Followed by that , we went to Aloy's house for ps2 , psp and a bit of NDSL. Had quite a fun time there and I slept on the sofa for 1.5 hours. AH , the pure pleasure of complete relaxation.

We slacked till mid-afternoon and we went for lunch at Compasspoint Ajisen. Ah , after that , we had a quality study time in the library and we enriched ourselves with several out of the normal curriculum books. Really should read more books at times when we are free like now .

And they always bring me into some form of thoughts when I hear them.
This time also. So... I should see...

Went to watch Eagle Eyes today with my brother today at Suntec. Quite an average film but it's ok I guess.

He will be going to NS in around 2 weeks time. I do not really know how it will feels like at home without him and being the only child at home , it does bring me some fear. Not really fear , but instead , it would feel weird without this brother who I see every single day since I was born.

However , it is this way isn't it? Life is full of meeting and leaving. Nothing can remain the same forever. 1 year+ into his NS , I guess I would be entering it too also bah. I just wish for the very best for my bro in his army career. HAHA. :)

And guitar is so freaking hard to learn. The enormous variety of chords =.=

School again tomorrow , guess would be super slack lol. Some enriching sessions. Hmmm.... Kinda remind me of the enrichment programmes we had back in the past. The drama/dance/Something else. Haha. Don't know, might be fun tomorrow? Hopefully?

Like finally? After three grueling weeks , It's over... :)

Today we had our last paper , which was the Chem MCQ.
Erm. Did average for it I guess? And IMMEDIATELY after our paper , we were returned our Chemistry paper 2 and 3.
As expected , my paper 3 was horribly done and my paper 2 was better than it. Overall just barely managed a pass , which I am already very thankful for , because I was prepared for the worse in Chemistry. Still has to factor in the Paper 1 , so we should see... Please let me pass!! =(

Today went to Sentosa with 0825 and had quite a lot of fun!

Met at harbourfront in the afternoon and then went on to go to Sentosa by minirail. Bought along two packets of vege sticks and a bottle of green tea but went home with the vege sticks Haha. Eat myself lor...

Coincidentally or not , today was Aloy's birthday so we went on to celebrate for him at the pavilion near the beach. After that , we decided to kick soccer but the sand was so hot! So , we went into the water to cool down first before kicking soccer. However , when we came back , it was still hot! So Weng Lin , Jing liang , Xiewei , Me decided to go back and slack in the water again lah , while the rest of the guys and the girls went to play volleyball . Very good feeling! Cooling and relaxing , just what I need to make my day.

Then after that , went up to slack a while before playing some volleyball. Never really play much lah Haha , but it's still considered as playing. Then after that , WENT BACK into the water again. This time , Junwei , Jingliang , Daniel , Xiewei and Aloy decided to thread water through to the island at the other side , in with water to around 3-4 m in the middle while Weng lin , me and Roy decided to stay there because we were not so confident with our swimming Haha. Then after that spent quite a while in the water resting and kinda slacked a while away.

We went back up onto the beach after that for some beach soccer which was really fun! All the sand kick here kick there , was a refreshing change from normal soccer lah. Then just slacked a while after that watching basketball and the girls playing games and then went to wash up. Haha and today there were two "HARD GHEYS" in red trunks playing basketball lah. Uncomfortable to the eyes , that is all I can say =/

After we returned back from Sentosa , went around to Vivocity , followed by Harbourfront centre for dinner. Ate at Ramen Ten which was not too bad. The serving was humoguous and the food was okay tasting. After the dinner , went upstair to outside Marche to sit around and look at the sea while playing a few rounds of Dai di. Went home in MRT after that.

The whole beach thingy made me so sandy Haha. And not bringing pants to change was something I regretted. Wore the same pants that went into water 3 times =.=

Oh ya and I heard that Yong Geng got into Combined school for Soccer. Woah , not bad man , proud of you! Haha. Great to hear that and all the best!

However , it was fun lah (: Had a good time with 25 today.

Saw Guan Wei on my way to Tampines. Wow been a long while since I last saw my platoon sergeant Haha. And Had a short chat with him. Hope he will do well for A Level I hope Haha.

Watched F1 racing just now. Hmmm... It was rather interesting to see Massa ruining his chance of winning the race with a major fault. That 1 minute wasted certainly ruined his entire chance. And Alonso won the race , unexpected... From 15th to 1st through a series of events that overall benefitted him. The safety car that came out twice... Overall was an eventful race which surely made the Singapore race more interesting. Should the race had been uneventful all the way , I bet no one would want to watch anyway =/

It did proved something. Like Alonso , even though he started out from the back , he can win the race, with effort placed in and a bit of luck.

Went finally to my cousin , Eng Khye's house to get a guitar from him this afternoon.

Thank man! And now I finally have my own personal guitar (:

The guitar is in relatively new condition as Eng Khye only used it for a short few months and it had not been touched ever seen , so when I saw it , it was clean and in mint condition , as good as new (:

Having trouble learning it though , seem like have to find someone to teach me or perhaps some other ways.

So should learn it slowly overtime and develop it as an interest.

It seems like that at 17 years old I'm not exactly that young anymore to start learning an instrument , but I will try to the best of my ability! To sort of fulfill my childhood dream of playing an instrument (:

It was quite long ago when I first came across this book.

That was when my brother had it for his secondary 1 & 2 school literature lesson , which was like over 6 years ago.

Seeing a book , I just took it and leisurely read it a bit.

It largely talks about a Thailand rural girl , who recieved a scholarship to study in the city and yet her father wants the scholarship for her brother , who is slightly younger than her. And in the social inequalities system of Thailand , it showed how she manages to persevere on and eventually managed to go to the city to study.

And it's to the Zoo for me to watch it tomorrow (:

And I can hear the F1 racing through from my house =) Not that interested in it though.

Actually not...
However , all of my major H2 papers have finished , being the 1st three H2 papers to be tested consecutively.
Still Left with Chinese , Econ H1 and Chem Paper 1.

Have been stressed up for very long , all the way since July , August , September at the daunting prospect of not doing well for my Promos and did indeed studied quite hard for it. Though the results aren't gurranteed to be satisfactory. At least I know that I tried my best.

On Monday , we had our GP examination. Hmmm...It's actually something quite interesting. You do not really have much to study for it , except perhaps some AQ techniques or comprehension technique. You just go there and gauge level of English and arguments. Actually , taking GP exam is really quite relax. I just went there and tried my best for it. The rest are left for the markers to decide.

Yesterday was a very long day , my H2 combi having both Geography and Math on the same day itself. 6 Hrs long and we had been talking about the 6 hrs thingy since a long time ago. Hmmm, failing my math during Mid-yr , I tried my best to revise for Math by doing the revision package twice and my vector is still very bad. However the rest of the questions seem quite managable , so I'm banking on my math to pass.

As for the Geography later in the day , quite interesting. In fact , very. From my experience of having Geography since Sec 1 to now, Geography have almost always been about the points and remembering large chunk of data. However , now the thing is different. The DRQ is one thing , but the essay is worth remembering and quite interesting to tackle.Because you can vomit out all your fact and you would only be half-pass. The questions now require deep analysis and evaluation and structure is a big component of the answering skill. Aiyah don't really know about it , but just planned for the essay to my idea of how it should be.

Chemistry Paper today sadden me quite a lot. Paper 2 was relatively managable but paper 3 somehow seems hard to me despite most people thinking that its easy. =( Tried my best for it though , andI must pass my Chemistry! So must work hard for Paper 1! At least hope that I would make it up by making as little mistakes as possible for my paper 1!

So that's about it.

Econs H1 tomorrow. Will definitely study for it. Later in the day since there's still plenty of time. Haha but not banking for it to pass though =/Treating it as a start to learning Econs perhaps? And then Chinese , putting in my best effort for it since it's possibly the last time we will take Chinese in a school?

And I finally , can enjoy the luxury of a well-deserved break.

On a sidenote: The recent milk powder incident have affected me. On my 8-9 th can of coffee , they suddenly say Nestle coffee might contain the poisonous mlk powder and have to be returned. And I have already drank so much =.=! See when I will die lah.

Sometime you just have to be dedicated in things that you desire.

Would have to go a few days back to the KPE swing run last Sunday that I went for , the first 10km run I finished on my own accord, instead of being forced like during camp in the past.

The day was fine and I reached there early in the morning. Was very early and the run started at 8.30 am. Quite a nice feeling as there were plenty of runners around me , numbering in the thousands , so it's like the first mass run that I have ran.

The KPE swing run was unique in itself in that it's a run in a KPE road tunnel , which indirectly mean , you will be running in the tunnel for 10 km without seeing the light for probably around 1 hour. Yup , so it was quite exciting. As the race started , began to run with a pace in mind , kudos my recent long distance running training every sunday in preparation for the run.

Just ran and ran. And it was a weird feeling as you go inside the tunnel and the only way out is the ending point and it's exhausting for sure , both physically and mentally. It's like that kind of things like for e.g. examinations and during a certain sport competition itself when you just go there to do the job and get it finished . You just go in and run , and you won't really think of other things , as you would really be dedicated in the run itself , trying your best to fight exhaustion and finish it.

The same thing with life itself , though things sure doesn't seem to go our ways most of the time Haha , sometime you just have to dedicated in things you desire and put your heart to it. One day , no matter how long it might take , whichever route you have to take , your heart will bring you there (:

My goal in this run was to finish it , in a decent time of course if possible and I think I did okay I guess. My timing was 59:36 mins that I timed myself. A 6 min km. Not that shabby for a first timer Haha I guess. New Balance run in October anyone?

Just reached home from Night studying. The entire day had been normal , just random revision here and there. Did a bit of the GP file and now going to start studying again.

Definitely very stressful , with the countdown to Promos. And I definitely should not be blogging now =/

Just hanging on for now , for I know very soon all these would be over =)
A bit more effort , a bit more time and all would go well. I hope =)

It's Raining

Not much have been done. Just a bit of math and nothing else. \
And there are tons left. And a 15 days left till Promos...

Went to school today for PW and then after that studied for a while before leaving for Suntec City to collect my Number Bibs And T-shirt for the KPE Swing. Quite a number of people are running as can be seen , I was the 2092th guy running in the 10km Man Opens and there are several other categories.

Followed by that , went home and then went to Lau Pat Sar (Old Market) for dinner. Been a long long time since I last went there for dinner... Years perhap? There was a period when I was young when my family and I used to dine there frequently. However to think of it , now it had been several years. I think around 2 years since we last went there. Just did not think of going there to eat.

And now there's a live band performing there! It was a Malay Band and I could say they played quite well , Even played "Apologize" ! =D Food there are really nice and I seriously regretted not going there to eat earlier.

As we went home later , it was raining quite heavily and we reached home quite late , a short while ago at 9+

Yet the rain was cooling and soothing , a great relieve from the busy lifestyle that we all are leading nowaday. And Raffles place at night on a weekend is just so quiet and peaceful. And being drenched in the rain was silent happiness in fact. Been so long since we could just let ourselves be drenched anyway we want it and just roam around the way we want , carefreely...

We have chemistry remedial today so went back to school for it. Went through the questions very slowly and did 4 mcqs in 1 hr+ , followed by the structured questions briefly. Most of the class then left for Econs and Junwei left for Volleyball . We then tried to study in school but in the end decided to leave for lunch. Had Macdonald with Roy and Jing Liang , followed by home.

Then went to Kallang Leisure Park in the late afternoon to watch Meet Dave. Kallang Leisure Park was like so empty and there were few people there , except for the ice skating rink which is like its main attraction. Other than that , most of the shops have little customers , sad to say.

Played Cobra at the Arcade and totally suck in it. Spent a few dollars at the machine and then went on to play the Prize Machine. After that , went into the screening hall and I was surprized. The whole hall was like.... Empty? Throughout the movie , I could say there are less than 5 people in the whole screening hall. So the movie was kinda 票房毒药 . Perhaps the money collected was not even enough to pay for the Electricity bill? However , can say that most of the other movies there do not have a lot of viewers as the place itself is generally rather out of place.

The movie , Meet Dave , is about a batch of tiny humans using an Eddie-Murphy Spaceship to roam the Earth looking for the orb that they need to suck the salt in the sea up on Earth to power their home planet , which is running out of power. Generally , it was "QUITE" funny but it lacked something. It taught people some values but I did not really like the movie. Found it quite lame =/

And Dang! Wasted another day , now going to study!

Teacher's day

Early in the morning , I woke up late but still managed to rush to school just before the birthday song is sung to celebrate Roy's birthday. Happy birthday Roy!

Ya and Today is the Teacher day celebration and the last day of the term.

And then after Assembly , the CCB(Chung Cheng Boys-Mr Hannis , Mr Peh , Kenneth , EP , Nictay , Weijie , Lucas , Jun yi , Clement , Zhi Xiang , Wei Jie , Alvin , me.) went to register for our Teacher's Day Competition tug of war! The tug of war was fun as it was total Ownage and within several seconds of the signalling of the start of the game , we have won while the other two teams are still struggling =P And not knowing that we have won , we continued to pull until the other team reached our cone though the ribbon in the middle already reached our cone. And some of the front members of the other team even fell down...

Then after that , we had our second and final game which is a treasure hunt which we have a 3 legged race and our group members take turns to go two-by-two to collect some puzzle pieces in a box in the middle of the field and piece it up. At our first leg , we lost out by a bit because Weijie and Lucas did not have their rope tied securely enough , so it sort of broken off after a short distance. However it was okay and we caught up after a while when we adopted a fast way of crossing three legged by just chionging and not coordinating enough ---Just jump , hop and run fast enough. So we sort of finished first but in the end was changed to second. It was alright though because the joy is in the participation and not in the winning itself! Besides , it was fun enough~~

And after the event ended , we went back to CCHMS after a hiatus of three months. Ms Khairani was on MC and not in so it was quite dissappointing. However , I saw 刘慧慧老师 , Ms Veronica Tan , Mr Faizal , Ms Mong , Mr James lim , Ms Han and Ms Adri. So sort of saw quite a no. of teachers.

Then we had soccer till about 5+ and we left for Brandon's house for Pools , foosballs , bridge . Ate pizza for dinner and spent time till around 9+ before heading for home.

Monday there was NYJC Film fest and I would commend Eugene Peter for a job well done as the main cast for the 1st part of the show. Haha. Dissappeared after being beaten up by Yida. The cast was entertaining and the movie was above average for a JC standard. Quite acceptable. Can say Director Ding Jie did an well-done job. And of course some of the crew members like ZhiXiang and Chun leong. Not bad not bad too =D And 4FG came down to support EP for the movie~~ With some 4CR and LY people also.

Today had Corrective work order for being late 3 days in a row. And then we arranged the tables and chairs in the hall. Was not too hard and finished in 1 hour. Then sat for a while outside LT4 to do up some Math Questions. Was quite worried... Haiz.

Friday is coming. Teacher day. Looking forward to it. Hope the celebration would be a well-done one and goes smoothly.

And then back CCHMS to find Ms Khairani , Liu Lao Shi , Ms Judy Ng , Ms Veronica Tan and Mr Faizal. Perhaps some other teachers too. I miss Liu Lao Shi =(

It has been a long long time since I felt helplessness. Vector is so hard. Went to lecture and sat there for an hour today in silence. Did not understand a word. Then went for tutorial and the feelings bottomed up felt so weird. And it just exploded. A bit of tears welled up at the edge of my eyes. Yup , I teared a bit , but did not cry.

It has been a long long time since I last cried over stuffs. In fact , over this entire year , nothing has actually driven me to tears before. There were a few times when I did in fact felt a bit like crying , however , that was when the things does not even concern me at all. I have grown up and learned that crying does not help. However , yet , today , it just came out. Perhaps the stress is just too unbearable.

I do remember that when I cried , most of the time it was when I saw things that are touching. When people put in effort to achieve their dreams , when there were farewells between me and other people. All those really happened a long long time ago.

However , I am fine , just that some tears came out and after a while , I was OKAY. Nothing much actually , just has to study up a bit. Stayed back to study vectors today and had a bit of improvement in my math Haha.

Wah I want to learn Keyboard and Guitar! Need the time to do so. After promos perhaps. Had been pushing all the plans times and times again. Since my plan to learn guitar last year during holiday to after promos. This time , it should be real. =D Starting with Guitar first bah! =)

Lot of insects

Today stayed back for night study With Junwei and Roy. A lot of bugs. Seriously all kind of bugs you can find. Beetles , Flies , Bees and so on. Was not very productive and did only my geography . Quite Challenging! Touching on new topics and stuffs that were never taught in pure geography before.

31 days from tomorrow onwards will be the promos. A one month gap.

Then after Junwei and Roy left , had an impulse to run a bit. Hence ran 7 rounds around the track before going home. Started at about 8.40 p.m. when the track was pitch dark. Hence a new running experience , because I seldom run in the night.

Tonight was bit queer though , the canteen seemed especially empty compared to previous nights the whole week. Only a couple of people here and there. Is everyone in classroom or library? Hmmmmm......

And I signed up for Tug-Of-War for teacher's day! With the discipline Master Mr Hannis and Econ Teacher Mr Peh and the CCB! A bunch of strong guys I can say. CCB all the way! Go Chung Cheng Boys ! Haha.

Today was normal and there was inter-house basketball 0825 will get to meet the China team - USA magic team tomorrow. Haha. Chances are not high. Haha! But great job on going to the semi-final!

Went to the canteen to study to expect something. However did not saw. Wah Danial lies to me sia! Haha.

Times and times in life , I have been faced with sad stuffs that made me unhappy.
Oftenly , things turned out unexpectedly and changed your life.
You blamed others for it. And yet one does not reflect on himself.
Sometime we choose to be happy or not.
And sometimes , our decision makes us happy or not.
I believe my decision was correct.
Now I am released from the burden.

Over the past eight months. I have realized something.
Which i haven't found out till recently.
And I am glad that I finally found out =)

I am glad to say I am very happy now.

There was floorball training ytd. Did very badly for it. Luckily there was Zihua to give me some coaching. Thank you man. Aiyah. Sian must really improve in floorball! However , it will be after promos. Then I will spend time improving on my technics.

Was feeling bored recently so suddenly have the impulse to join several runs. Signed up for the KPE Swing tunnel 10km run on Sept 14th , the New Balance Real Run (10km or 15km run)in October and the standard Chartered 10 km run at the end of the year. Half marathon seem too difficult for me Haha. Next time perhaps. The two runs doesn't come cheap so I will see first but I will definitely be going for the KPE run. I miss the joy of running among a lot a lot of people Haha. The adrenaline. And 10km seem like a good starter which I can do without much training. Half marathan requires training on my side unfortunately I don't think I have sufficient time for.
Aim : Slightly below 1 hr for KPE swing . Go go go. Hwaiting yo~~

And now a hundred pages into the Kite Runner... Haiz. Guilt. Fear. The most tender fragile parts of the human souls exposed. To its deepest inner core.

37 days left. Haven't really started revising. And EOM , Geography test. Killing me.I should seriously stop slacking now. There's no way I'm going to get retained AHHH....>_< Reaction kinetics test last in class. Poor marks for GP essay common test. T_T

Went to the library to slack this morning and borrowed the Kite Runner.
I know its a great book but never really have the chance to read it.
Had a chance to buy it more than 1 year back for a cheap price but did not.
So decide to finish it soon. Perhaps spread it out over one month?
After reading the story , then I would watch the film.
A deep story of ties and realities.

There's only slightly more than 1 month left...

Planned to night study today , but wasted most of the time watching netball instead of studying.
And then did some silly stuffs.
No mood to study anyway. Was feeling moody the whole day... Hope to perhaps do some math now bah.

Ms Khairani birthday outing

Today is Ms Khairani's birthday celebration with 4FG.

Woke up in the morning to go catch Journey to the Centre of the Earth with my bro at PS. We walked there.

It was a great movie by Brendon Frazer. I once read the book when I was young and beforehand , I thought it was modern adaptation of the novel. However , it turned out that it was a trip that was inspired by the book. It was rather exciting and entertaining. So enjoyed the film. Jules Verne is such a talented writer. Around the world in eighty days , Journey to the centre of the earth was some of the books that I read. Awesome read.

After the movie , we walked back home again. This time in the rain. However it was not far. Refreshed me Haha.

After the movie , we walked back home again and I went to bath and get changed for the dinner at Fish & Co. Reached later than most of the guys but Ms Khairani reached about the time I reached. It was great to meet up with all the guys and caught up with them. And I had Fish and Chips which was not cheap. Regretted eating because I was not too hungry and could have skipped the dinner.

Great to hear that everyone are doing well nowaday. And Ms Khairani liked my present HAHA. After the dinner , we strolled to PS to get a Crumpler laptop bag for her which she said that she had intention to buy a long long time ago. So we told her we had a surprize for her and we brought her to PS. After dilly dalli a long long long time at PS and looking around several shops , the gift was bought and presented to her. And being the nice teacher that she is , she rejected the gift. However we all spent a long long time persuading her to accept the gift. She accepted the gift , on condition that we do well for our respective studies and that she would give us a treat on our next outing.

And I miss your brain breaks , encouraging talks , the every SS lesson , the every English Lesson , the every small and big things that occured to us. Even though sometimes you would get very angry with our mischevious class , I know its because you are concerned about us.

0825 Class picnic / National Day

Wow. Today is 0825 class picnic. Bought along with me 3 loaves of bread that roughly go untouched and peanut butter which I brought home =.= So I could have effectively brought nothing at all. However brought scrabble and cards that we played for a bit.

Reached PS KFC to find Junwei in the morning . We were the 2 earliest birds. So we waited for everyone to come , Wenyi , then followed by Mavis and Jingliang , then Weng Lin , Lynette and Xiaoman and then lastly Aloysius. Then we took a bus to Botanic Garden.

When we reached there , we found a spot under a shade for picnic. Actually I seldomly have picnic. My last picnic was like damn long ago. And its like my first time at the Botanical garden? Quite a lot of food , so we feasted on potato chips , sausages , cheese sausages , marshmellows , donuts , beehoon , noodles. Hong Zhen reached a short while after and followed by Jodi , Keqin. So that was roughly all of us who went for the picnic.

There was quite a lot of entertainment. Played scrabble, volleyball , a bit of sepak tekraw by myself , monkey , captain ball which I slacked all along by just walking around as I was super tired and cheat the card game. So overall , it was quite fulfiling as quite a no. of games are played.

Don't have any pictures . So might post in the future if I get them.

And it was overall very fun lah. Much more fun than I expected of a picnic lol haha.

After that I left early at 3.30 p.m. while the rest of 0825 stayed on.

Then went home to watch National Day Parade telecast. This year 1 I did not really like it. Maybe because last night Olympics Parade was FAR nicer. The firework this year are pretty though , can see from my windows Haha.

I do not really like the singing part this year because I found it not so nice . 4 opera singers wth Haha.

However , still , Happy 43rd Birthday Singapore!

Tomorrow is Miss Khairani Birthday and Class gathering with 4FG ! Not bad not bad. And here i wishes Miss Khairani a very happy birthday.

Wow this is a special day , a day that will only occur once in a hundred year!

888. So auspicious!

And happy birthday Xiaoman! What a nice day to have a birthday.

1 year back , I would just have finished my usual cross country. Last time it was sweats and perspiration for National day. Now we just sit there and relax only. The adrenaline and tiredness was quite memorable. How I improved gradually over 4 years. Things of the past now.

Today we had national day celebration and the first part was the Malay Cultural Thingy. Rather boring. However , when it got to the poem writing and the house games part. The atmosphere was better as it was quite entertaining.

And after the national day celebration , we celebrated Xiaoman's birthday , with a cake sponsored by Mr Lee. Not bad not bad. And after that we went to watch the soccer interhouse. Left quite early and do not know the results. However , Daniel , EP , jinghan , Qingwei they all that team seemed to be doing quite well. Not bad not bad.

Then went to eat Macdonald with Roy and followed by going home.

Olympics is beginning today. Good luck Team Singapore!

Had been night studying once in a few days recently. At least now I'm making a conscious effort in my work. Hope it would allow me to do better in my works perhaps.

Time are passing so fast that I'm considering whether I should try to complete my FF4 or leave it till after promos.

Yesterday I was really muddlesome. Went to school early in the morning to study for Chemistry and went to do a bit of Pull up and standing board jump. Then went for assembly as usual at 8.30 a.m.

Found out that I missed something --- Chemistry Test at 7.30 a.m. . I did not even know about it ! However Mr Lee was nice to let me retake it later. Was not very hard and yet not say very easy. Jacques can get 25.5/30 , lets see how I do for it.

Then had floorball but lack of practice. Completely out of touch. Did very badly for it. Must train a lot a lot for it.

Then today was a normal day. Stayed back in library to do up WR. Then left for dinner and went home.

Ah promos coming very soon. Stressed. Must study really really hard.

Health camp

Went for the health camp on Friday and Saturday. Er thought it was pretty wasteful of time before it but it turned out to be OK.

There were running , followed by a lecture and a night Frisbee League at like 10 p.m. And we won all 5 matches , trashing all the teams Haha. A bit cheat cause there were people who were at the camp just for fun like Catherine , Genson and Jing Yang in our group. And we also had Kenneth in our group. So we were probably the strongest Group. Yup and then after all the stuffs , we went to bath and sleep. Some of us chose to sleep in the open on the sit up bench and sleeping outdoor was memorable. To think back 1+ year ago, whenever there were camps back in the past , I would sleep on the steps beside the big lake. That was a truely memorable experience.

Being able to sleep in the open and look up upon the starry sky , that is a blessing. Each star seems to be telling a story of its own. One suddenly sparkle and the other suddenly dim. True with what life is like . There are highlights and there are darker period. As the light breeze blew onto us , it sometimes helps us think why can't we be contented with the simpler things in life and expect too much? Just lying there made me feel at at ease and relaxed. Maybe I am easily contented.

Then today , we had a rather long walk at Kent Ridge park I think. Long and boring sia. Followed by a trip to Safra Toa Payoh for some Gyming and as we entered we were greeted by a muscleman uncle at the reception unlike normal gyms where there's a girl at each reception. LOL turned off Haha because he was really how to say. One must see him for himself. There was a steam bath which was really very very hot. When I went inside , I felt like a bun in a steamer. No wonder they call it a steam bath. =.= Yup and after everything had prize presentation followed by tea and home.

Ya , quite a simple camp but not bad knowing some new people from my group. But damn , missed the testimonial match for Floorball. Sian. Haiz.

It seems that now there are more and more strife. I do not like to see that , neither do anyone else . Let us all take a step back each and forget all these? Would be hard. Please. Thanks. And wish you all will put yourself in each other shoes and talk it through soon. No one is totally right , and no one is totally wrong either. I am neutral but yet , I don't like the sight. Seems like its true that as months passed by , things are never the same anymore. Where are the laughter and joy now?

Lol ya and for all those who say I listen to old man song in chinese lesson LOL. This is the song wah. Quite a popular song that's less than a decade old. Heard it when I was young wah Haha. One of his best song wah.

Yeah my RMVB player is here! And armed with a 160 GB HDD , I can watch countless stuffs on it! =D Altogether doesn't come cheap though at a price approaching $200 , but its money well spent! And I don't have to pay a cent at all becoz my bro pays it all LOL HAHA.

Had math test and GP common test today. Aiyah , confirm will do badly for both. GP chose a hard topic and did not have things to write about. Regretted choosing that question. Math test was jialat becoz the paper is of promos level. Let see where I go wrong when I get the paper and possibly not make the same mistakes again bah.

There was The Hunt today and both Priscillia and Elaine were on it =D. Priscillia won! Congratz! Didn't vote though as I had to leave halfway through The Hunt and went for some Green Committee briefing. Wasted my time lah Haha.

Camp tomorrow sia. Been a long time since I had a camp. Hope it would be fun. Night mahjong and card is incomparable.

Night Study 1st day

Today had Meet the parents session and surprisingly , Mr Lee did not comment much undesirable things about me and instead help me put in good words. And he said I got some small loss of concentration in class occasionly. However, beside that , its alright. Even said Night study could benefit me Lol Haha.

Then went to library to read up a bit on Chemistry while waiting for Junwei and Aloy to end training. Then met Junwei in canteen to study up a bit while waiting for Aloy. After a while , Junwei had to leave while I left with Aloy , who just finished to eat with his friend. Had dinner at the coffeeshop with Yong Jing , Yi Hao , Chun Leong and Aloy. After that , went to the MRT station to take the train home.

Unexpectedly , I met my cousin Vincent on the train and we had some chats. Imagine our age difference. Our age differs by 17 years. He's the oldest in the family at 34 years old , while I am the youngest among all my cousins at 17 years old. I'm a poor JC student while he's an accomplished doctor and ear specialist. with 4 children now. Had a pleasant time with him because he's a nice guy to talk to. Talked about studies and how he got through some NUS doctor interview instead of another guy who had better results than him.

I need more motivation.

Today was a really wasted day.

Woke up early to go school intending to do homewk before PW at 11. End up , reached there slacked a while looking at Jap kids playing soccer and training my SBJ + Pull Up. Then I started to do a bit of my homework. Recieved a sms that PW has been shifted to NLB. Ended up threading all the way back home to NLB. Sian.

This is how NYJC is like every sunday morning. There will be soccer training and a lot of Japanese parents supporting their children. There are also substantial amount of Malay kids also training. Today is some form of competition. Its not bad looking at all those young kids playing soccer. Very cute I can say. Even saw some potential Hidetoshi Nakata leh!

Then went to NLB to look for resources and spent some hours there on the 8th storey and 11th storey. Spent a long time there with some breaks in between for Lunch. So effectively drained my entire homework hours away. Now still left with a lot of homework. Sian. Before we went home , Aloy and I went to look at the Study lounge and coincidentally I saw Yanting studying there. Wah so hardworking sia. Been a long long time since I last saw her and we just waved to each others only as we were in a hurry to leave.

Then went home and now I am going officially start chionging homework le.

Oh ya and recently I like this piano piece. Allen playing the piano in Ep.92 of D-gray man.(Same week direct telecast on Art Central , Friday 11p.m. every week)

Shuffling and shuffling , that song from Cao Ge came up again. Listening to that song again , it brought back some memories. Pleasant one.

Recalling the past , it had been more a year since that period le. That period of time really was a lovely memory worth remembering. Thank you.

These couples of days have been spent reading comics in class Lol Haha. Whenever there is free time. Kindaichi really rocks!Was kind of surprized by the ending of Smokes & Mirror. Not bad not bad. And I just got two new volumes LOL Haha.

Floorball committee has been decided. Not sure when training will start again but I'm looking forward to it. Hope to play the game again after such a long hiatus and hopeful improve in the game itself Haha. Cause really has been missing out of CCA for far too too long. Not sure how the new floorball IG will cope in future without Eddy's batch though. Time will see us through.

And recieved some Health Rep training message to learn 1st aid and firefighting next week ?? =.= Wth lol , they expect us to fight the fire instead of responding to the fire drill. And 1st aid , generally , I believe there's nothing basic they can teach that I do not know. But Bo pian , still must go.

And health camp next Friday and Saturday =D First time staying overnight in NYJC. Should be quite a nice experience I guess. Quite looking forward to it in fact.

Today has been a shorter day for me as my Econ H1 finished earlier as Ah Peh is not here today? Instead of meeting parents today , I have to meet on Monday due to some time constraints. So hope to see my result slips then. WTH , really slow. Some classes have already gotten their result slips beforehand. But haiz still the same lah. Econ homework to be handed up on Monday and is counted for Overall result... I do not even know anything , so how do i do it?? =(

Has been sleeping lesser and lesser in classes recently. Good. On track towards 0- sleeping ~ Hwaiting~~

And monday 28th July is the friendly match btw Brazil and Singapore! And the tickets went to prices like $120 for grandstand and $60 for gallery . Even $15 for student tickets. Quite expensive comparing with other matches. However I guess now all the tickets have been sold out le. So will it be shown? Sian. Heard will be shown on Channel 5 but not sure. Also knew of this too late to go get some student tickets. Haiz , it has been a long long time since I attended the closing cerenomy at the National Stadium. And yet , matches have been happening again and again there. Like never close like that =.= WTH I still got sentimental and emotional during the cerenomy back then. 1 year back?

And hope this song would bring hopes and determination for all those reading this blog. Work hard and everything will be gotten through successfully . 0825 , 4FG , CCHMSians , NYJCians. Anyone at all. Quite an aged song but meaningful lyrics. Whatever Promos , O level or whatever obstacles you have to overcome. Monday

One can hardly wonder why I can't finish my tutorials and everything on time.

Seeing that my books I borrowed for PW are expiring , I went on to the NLB in the evening to return my books. However when I went there , there were effectively nothing much I thought I can do and I just went down and sat there reading marvel comics. Even with SPA tomorrow and unstudied at that moment.

Just sat there till 8 p.m. and then went home. Wanted to borrow some novels or books but figured that I would not bother , nor have the time to read. So borrowed 4 rather interesting comics =.= Kindaichi , .Hack , Courtney Crumrin Trilogy.

Courtney Crumrin Trilogy is some cool stuff. And Kindaichi was my childhood obsession. All those detective stories. Wah , overwhelming. I remembered the days in my Secondary 1 days when I keep borrowing the Detective Conan from the school library. Nice read Haha...

I realized that a lot of people are not making good usage of the Library Resources nowaday. This year , its my second time borrowing books from the public library . 1st Being for PW and 2nd being now. Seriously quite a lot of books there which are interesting enough to borrow. Free somemore leh. Maybe lazy like me lah. Even though NLB is like a few streets away , I also go there only like once in a while. Let alone borrowing books.

I do have to complain that the 20 days time limit is a tad too short though. Back in the past. It was 1 month. And there was ample time for us to read through our book. Now 3 weeks seem like quite short as for me , I hardly even have time for homework , let alone finishing a 400+ , 500+ pgs novel in a short while.

Lol I still remember going to Tampines Library weekly in the past when I was like in Primary School? And now its like at most once per few months? Exceptions for when I went to study in the NLB instead of going there for the books themselves.

Just some of my rants about Library. Ignore it Haha.

Tuesday

Today we had Chemistry SPA. Er . Can only say screwed it up. Could not finish and had a lot of errors and careless mistakes. Did Geography which spent 2 whole hours of my break However , thankfully its finished.

Wah PE was exhausting. Did PT for my poor Pull-ups and SBJ. Asked to do SBJ even though I passed it as I am very unconfident for it. Did both trainings which were quite intensive. However , could feel that it's having some effect on my Arms and Legs. Good thing. 1 Month more to train.

Seem like there are nothing much to blog nowaday Haha.

Just that my brother is going to NS soon... In around 3 months time . Mixed feeling. Its nothing much but yet my house would be more empty in the future. Still long lah. Going to send him off on Tekong Island seems rather interesting for me though.

And quick quick Floorball start quick! Starting to miss it a tad now.

Slacking through the weekend

The weekend has been a very slack one for me.

I set a goal . To finish some tutorials and study up. Yet , I find myself watching dramas on TV and on the internet, which I have watched before in the past. WTH. Wasted long long hours.

Luckily , today has been a more successful attempt. At least did up some tutorials and summation is finishing.

Nothing much to update as did not really go out and do something. Just stayed at home.

And now for some additional Economics Knowledge

Oh ya to update everyone on this new Zimbabwe crisis. It's very interesting as in , Zimbabwe is now experiencing 2.2 million % inflation . Compared that to the 7+ % inflation that we are crying hell over this year.

They had just issued their $100 billion notes for the 1st time. Easily HELL NOTE denomination

And take note. $100 billion is only sufficient to buy 4 oranges. Not even 1 loaf of bread.

And 1 US$ is equivalent to $100 billion Zimbabwe Dollar

Time for all those inflation policy to work wonders in this case. =)

Today was rather a special day.

Happy birthday Mavis and Lucas!

First we celebrated Mavis Birthday after a long tiring day in school. Few breaks. Can only say its detrimental to our strength Haha. We had a cake and a simple celebration in the canteen.

Then after that , went to watch + play netball for a short while. Followed by dinner with the usuals with Chern Yee this time to celebrate Lucas's Birthday at the food court at Singpost . Shared Cavanna Chicken with Nictay. Ate Szechuan Chicken with rice! Followed by that we went to EP's house to chill out. Some people stayed overnight while a couple of us , including me , went home at 10+.

I'm seriously lagging behind in term of tutorials and works so far. Been slacking all the while and as such my tutorials are piling up exponentially . In fact , I'm trying to complete my Summation this very moment. I'm stressed up. Especially since someone has to remind me in the toilet this morning that Promos start on 22nd Sept. Not a long while away.Yet , mentally and realistically , I don't feel at the very least , confident for it. Time will see I think.

Yesterday(15/07/08) , we took class photos and had quite of fun during it. Took a lot of photos lah and I got some of the photos now. Will upload some of them in the future I guess. However for now , just put 1 photo first bah. Then as I heard , there were supposed to be some problems that Mr Lee will scold us over. However , it was alright. So I guess its fine. Mr Lee must has been in a good temper yesterday.

Life has been boring again recently and lessons have been going on as usual with relatively new timetable. Tomorrow will be Chinese listening Comprehension for A level. So guess we just dig our ears and go with a pair of better ears?

I guess I seriously need a break. I need a long long day that I can just sleep till I'm song song. Life is just too hectic to afford that kind of luxury. I seriously do not like doing that in lessons though sometime I just can't help it =.=

Floorball should be starting soon as A Division just ended for now. At least , now I have a sport to play with. Well I have been slacking too much without CCA last few months indeed. Should at least let myself have this very basic responsibility of a training once a week I guess.

Weekend breakdown

My weekend was rather productive I would say?

I watched movie on Saturday! With my brother and we watched Red Cliff. However , it was disappointing as although it packed some punches with good actions , it was a bit draggy. 2 and a half hour later , a "To be continued" credits showed up on the screen Haha! Like WTH? Wah lucky the tickets were free~~ =D Free popcorn combo somemore.

Sunday was not bad too. Went to Desmond's church in the morning to experience it a bit. 1st time at a youth service. Quite an enriching experience I would say. Though I'm not too sure if I would be going again. Ya got this Traveler mahjong set from Desmond for my birthday present Haha! Delivered from Penang. Thanks a lot man! Has been wanting a Miniature mahjong set for long long time to satisfy my craving ~ XD Then went to Seng Kang for PW work . Returning home to meet the horrible homework which I'm doing even till now! APGP Sucks~~ RAWR.

Recently , I have been searching the past. I found this book. Which is very inspiring, possibly the book that influenced me the most so far. "Something happened on the way to Hell & other amazing stories" by K.H Chong . I remembered how "Enlightened" I was back then when I first read it Haha! Back in Primary 6 or Secondary 1. However now as I read it again , I realized how different the book is now. I could understand it much more now. In the past it was read without understanding. Now its read with Comphrenhension! However , being a book that changed my perspective of life , I read it every year. It sort of had an answer to my different questions over the years. A simple book of philosophy and super entertaining!

Ask me for the book should you happen to want to read it. Because its out of print now. It could change your life.

For sure. Because I am inspired by it.

Should share some of the stories in the book in simpler form in the future when I have the time. Back to APGP now!

I know myself.

I know what I have done to piss off a lot of people.
However , now I promise to myself . I would transform myself.

Throughout years , it has been like this. I never changed much.
Probably due to the environment I had been in in my Secondary school where no one really bother.

However.

It's a promise.

For myself.

I will become more humble.
I will become more sensitive to people.
I will grow more mature.

I realize I am blogging out of nothing. However this is just to put the below video on my blog.

Today is rather boring and we just had our normal school day. Went to Subway at J8 for lunch in the afternoon with the usual people and I realized that my money is seriously running out soon. I think I might be eating bread now and perhaps bread crumbs in the future.

Erm this time to showcase this Nanyang Film Festival Film Trailer.

Presenting Eugene Peter the rapist and Yida the erm faithful lover? And filmed by a team made up of a rather large portion of CCHMS people , helmed by Ding Jie and with Crew members like Zhi Xiang. Er not sure about the rest.

Some scenes were filmed in Chung Cheng Campus. Making it very worth watching for CCHMS people. Of course , the cast is strong to make it worth watching for almost anyone!

Today actually have nothing much to blog about. Just that I reached home early today.

Yup . Today was rather short.

Then went home to clean up my room and tidy it up. Nicer environment now =D
So proud of myself =)

Oh ya. And today there's a piece of Tokong Essay written by Cadet leader Sir Jacques Lin Zhong Yan. Bravo bravo!

Every person who read it laughed like mad =X And I almost laughed till I threw out the carrot cake in my mouth. LOL

A level Chinese Oral

Today I felt stupid again.

I woke up , thinking that chinese oral for ME , was on 10th of July. However , I saw that most of the class were having it today. So I came rather early to school to check up the timetable.

OH. So my oral is today. Nevermind about that though. Oral doesn't need any preparation right?

Then through the day , it was normal , Had several lessons but did not recieve any papers. I thought we could get back our Chemistry and Econ H1 today! However , not really. Still must wait till Friday. Oh Well. Patience. Though I'm curious. Very curious how screwed I'm for Econ. Don't know about Chemistry though. It seem "PASSABLE"? I didn't mention if it's sub-pass or not.

Ok. So time passed by vry fast. And soon we were taking our Chinese Oral. Sat in the hall for 1 hr+ . Rather fast. And soon it was my turn. Our topic was Formula one! Quite expected because its quite a recent topic. Did normal for it I guess. Should be ok bah. She asked me some questions but still the topic did not have much to talk about.

So that's about it for today.

Super sweet mango smoothie

Today was quite an unusual day as I woke up surprising early for a Saturday.

Then went with Elaine to town for some shopping and I felt so stupid.

I went to Dohby Ghout instead of Orchard when we were supposed to meet at Shaw House. And to think I went there for 5 days straight last year December when I was working =.= Really forgot where Shaw house was le lol.

That was a horrible experience. I remembered the work was getting $50 for every successful survey done. Easy? However , it involves a lot of things like bringing the couple to a gallery to walk around for 1 hr. Did it with Gabriel and Zi Jian last year. Spent like 5 days and earned $0? Quitted a while after and I think they two earned very very little money.

And we went for some window shopping but did not buy anything as we just looked around. Drank Mango Smoothie at Maccafe for $5.10! However , I don't really appreciate Mango Smoothie Haha. Guess not my kind of drink as it's too sweet for me.

Reached home at around 6 and then went out for dinner soon.

Ya , did nothing much today .

Promos is in like 2 mths time? STRESS~~

I must start on my Econ H1 soon. Read through the book I think. Ya that's for my Tomorrow and Monday.
